  1. Hi Did you get this kind of message when trying to launch after update : ERROR PROGAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK)
  2. I apologize for fxxxx word. You're totally right it's totally inapropriate here. Sorry again. I can't edit my post. Then if a mod or adm could delete it please do it. About http://malwarebytes.gt500.org/ : I know it's out of date. I just used it to elaborate my problem at the attention of advanced-setup (Ron) and let know that MBAM is totally loading right (fully fonctionnal with MBAM 1.5.1.1800) with an old mbam-rules.exe database rules (6516) but crash when I try to run it from my desktop when I update to the lastest rules currently 7318 as I type this post.. As a result my mbam icon in the windows tray is fully functionnal when I right clik and try to enable/disable actve protection or Block IP or update manually. The only function that didn't work is "ran a scan" cuz in this case it try to load mbam.exe and that's in this case that I got the current error message : ERROR PROGAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK) Yes I use utorrent for personal purpose : I'm 52 years old and an old time music collector (Hendrix-Stones-Bowie....). I use utorrent on very private trackers set up among a few worlwide others music collectors like me to track down odl gigs/concernts/studios sessions/outtakes only in lossless format (flac - shn -ape...) from various artists we collect - all unoffcial recordings never put for sale on the Industry Music Market (bootlegs and rare tapes shared this way among collectors worlwide) I used utorrent since years and never had any problems with MBAM before. Hope somebody will be able to resolve my problem. Have a nice day all Take care HB
  3. Hi, 1) I've disabled real time protection for 15 mns 2) I've launch manually an update from mbam in the windows tray (I must have omitted to say that mbam is always in the windows tray each time I restart my computer and I can access to everything by right click on the mbam icon in the tray except to run a scan which lead to " PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK" ) 3) The update rules download fine (6.79MB) but at the end I got the fatal message " PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK" 4)) When I prompt my mouse on the mbam icon in the tray I read "Version of the database 7314 (prior it was 7313) 5) BUT I STILL CAN'T LAUNCH MBAM BY DOUBLE CLICKING ON THE MBAM ICON ON MY DESKTOP NOR LAUNCH A SCAN BY RIGHT CLICKING ON THE MBAM ICON IN THE TRAY : IF I DO THAT I STILL GOT " PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK" 6) I've done the same operation a few hours later but with real time protection enabled into BitDefender and I've got the same result as follow : Launch an update manually but at the end I got the same message " PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK"I prompt my mouse on the mbam icon in the tray I read "Version of the database 7315 (prior it was 7314)I STILL CAN'T LAUNCH MBAM BY DOUBLE CLICKING ON THE MBAM ICON ON MY DESKTOP NOR LAUNCH A SCAN BY RIGHT CLICKING ON THE MBAM ICON IN THE TRAY : IF I DO THAT I STILL GOT " PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK" THE ONLY WAY TO GET MBAM LOADED AND ACCESS TO ALL THE FUNCTIONS AND EVENTUALLY RAN A MANUAL SCAN IS THIS WAY : I NEED TO APPLY MANUALLY an old mbam-rules.exe (version 1.6516.0.0). I've DL this version current June from http://malwarebytes.gt500.org/ and kept it on a personal folder. But if I let MBAM update the database rules once again the database update to the lastest version of the database 7315 (prior it was 6516) but at the end of the DL the same message pop up " PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK" I've tried to apply manually the latest rules from http://malwarebytes.gt500.org/ : mbam-rules.exe (version 1.7276.0.0) but this time after I ran the mbam-rules-exe I can't load MBAM by double clicking on th MBAM icon on my desktop the same' message pop up : " PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK" I really don't know what to do. Reel Time Protection is active in background. Manually database rules are working by right clicking on the mbam icon tray. BUT I CAN'T LOAD MBAM WITH AN UP-TO-DATE DATABASE RULES NOR I CAN'T ACCESS TO THE FULL POTENTIAL POSSIBILITY OF MBAM (SCHEDULING - RAPPORTS LOGS - QUARANTINE - FILES EXCLUSIONS......) AND MORE THAN IMPORTANT I CAN'T RUN A SCAN WITH THE LASTEST DATABASE RULES UPDATE. YOU MUST ADMIT WITH ME THAT RUNNING A SCAN WITH AN OUTDATED DATABASE RULES (6516) IS NOT REALLY A SOLUTION TO KEEP MY COMPUTER SAFE That's all I can say for now. I'll be very disapointed to have to shut down MBAM definitively. I use it since the early days and have been very pleased with it since all of these years. I hope to read you with some further intructions in the forthcoming hours. Thanks Ron for your patience and disponibility Best regards HB
  4. Hi, I've DL OLT.exe and try to run it but each time I got an error message and need to close. In the mean time AdvancedSetup (Ron L) has sent me a PM to run DDS.scr These are the two log files attached below. Thanks for your help HB attach.txt dds.txt
  5. Sorry for the double post. I wanted to add a few more details about my problem but I've not found the edit post tool :-) HB
  6. Hi, I updated to the lastest mbam release 1.5.1.1800 PRO version (french) since a few days. All was working fine since yesterday night. I can't now load the database programm mbam.exe This is the error I got ERROR PROGAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK) I've desinstalled and reinstalled mbam twice using mbamclan.exe + disable my bitfender AV+firewall begore installing using this solution found on another topic with same problem "Please try a MBAM clean re-install by doing the following: Download and run the latest mbam-clean.exe. It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so - VERY IMPORTANT.After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here.Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license within the boxed version or were sent via email if using the PRO version. Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates. Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the PRO version. Now setup any process/folder/file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it." ...The problem is still there!!! Others informations that could help to solve my problem : bitdefender Internet Security firewall is set up with mbam.exe and mbamservices.exe as authorized programms (rules set up). I've tried this other solution I've found on another older topic from a member with the same problem Please follow the instructions below to correct this error..... Show Hidden Files and Folders in Windows XP: Click Start and select My Computer Click the Tools item from the menu at the top of the window (if you don't see Tools press the Alt key on your keyboard and it will appear) Select Folder Options Click the View tab and make sure Show hidden files and folders is selected under Hidden files and folders Next, uncheck the box next to Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) Then, uncheck the box next to Hide extensions for known filetypes Click Apply then click OK No luck with this I 've checked into Tools administration - Journal events and found this : Mbam.exe Faulting application, version 1.51.1.1076, faulting module mbamcore.dll, version 1.51.0.8, fault address 0x00044250. It appears when my sheduled quick scan try to start last night Any help from mbam support would be greatly appreciated I'm using mbam since the early days and it's the second time I've been struggling with this particular problem. First time was June 2011. Topic closed here : http://forums.malwar...22 Ron L. a very nice guy who help me resolve the problem thru emails with the following instructions : "Please download the following file : mbamnet.dll (version 1.51.1.1) Please find and rename the following file C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamnet.dll to mbamnet.oem Then extract and copy the mbamnet.dll file from the downloaded archive and copy it into that same folder C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Then restart the computer and try to check for updates again and let us know how it works". It works fine at this time. But I've tried this again but this time it didn't work MY OS is WINDOWS XP SP3 (up to date) DSL connection (20 MB/s) Firefox 5.0.1 Thanks in advance for your help and instructions. HB
  7. Hi again My latest rules set files (6637) (zip) DSL connection (20 MB/s) Firefox 4.0.1 I'm using mbam since the early days. First time I've been struggling with a such problem. Another info I could give is that I've tried to reinstall an older version of mbam (1.46) and it works fine. I can launch mbam.exe with no problem. It told me to update. I did so. The latest version 1.5.1.0.1200 and rules set (6637) installed fine. Then I try to launch mbam.exe and I got the same error as previous : ERROR PROGRAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE(0,13, CREATE SDK). Mbamservices.exe and mbamgui.exe works fine and are present into the task manager...but mbam.exe isn't and won't load. Really strange:!!!!! I REALLY NEED TO RECOVER MBAM FULLY FONCTIONNAL!!!! If you need more info please ask. Thanks once again for your support HB rules.zip
  8. Others informations that could help to solve my problem : bitdefender Internet Security firewall is set up with mbam.exe and mbamservices.exe as authorized programms (rukes set up). HB
  9. Hi again, Btw I omitted to say taht I've tried the following solution posted in another thread with no success : Please follow the instructions below to correct this error..... Show Hidden Files and Folders in Windows XP: Click Start and select My Computer Click the Tools item from the menu at the top of the window (if you don't see Tools press the Alt key on your keyboard and it will appear) Select Folder Options Click the View tab and make sure Show hidden files and folders is selected under Hidden files and folders Next, uncheck the box next to Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) Then, uncheck the box next to Hide extensions for known filetypes Click Apply then click OK Thanks in advance for your help HB Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and delete rules.ref. Once you've done that, start MBAM and when it shows the error and asks to update, let it do so and see if that corrects it.

  11. Many thanx to Swandog46 (for providing the mbam-beta.exe) and to all the MBAM Team involved into the "bug memory" fix process. GREAT WORK GUYS I've monitored the memory usage of mbamservice.exe since 6 hours and it stabilized at 43K so far. WINDOWS XP SP3 Intel(2) Core 2 Duo CPU E7300 @ 2.66 GHz 3 Go memory BITDEFENDER ANTI VIRUS 2009 MBAM 1.44 beta (provided by Swandog46) I've done a few quick scan and update...browsing the web for an hour with multiple tab opened (IE8 and Firefox)...all is OK so far. It seems you've "killed the beast" guys I'm going to monitoring the memory usage fo the next 24 hours and keep you updated. I'm really happy to register to MBAM Forum just a few days ago : it's really a great community. All the best JJ
  12. Hi everybody, I've just registered to the forum today. I'm experiencing the same problem (mbamservice.exe is eating a lot lot of memory) with the new 1.43 version. I've never got any problem with 1.42. I'm a long time Malwarebytes user and I've never been disapointed to purchase the full version (3 years ago). Today I've decided to disable Malwarebytes (I know this not the SOLUTION) but I'm tired to reboot my computer every six hours to get mbamservice.exe set to a normal memory usage (37K at reboot but increasing to 80K after 6 hours browsing the web...and 240K after 24 hours). With 1.42 version mbamservice.exe started with 37K and never up to 45 or 50K memory usage even after 2 or 3 days without reboot). Please dear administrator Swandog46 I need your help...shutting down Malwarebyte is not the solution... isn'it? But what can I do...reboot my computer each 6 hours...that's really not the solution too!!! Then what else? I've sent an email to the the Help support desk and they invited me to join this board where I could get all the help I need. Any help would be very very appreciated (PM or email me Swandog46...I'm waiting your instructions) Sorry for my so so english (I'm from France) All the best JJ
