Problems with Google Earth Pro after MB Update

After I updated my MB my google earth pro no longer displays correctly. I have uninstalled and re-installed GEP, uninstalled and re-installed MB. The problem is that GEP starts up but never loads completely. The window never opens on my screen after the initial start, there is a flash of the app opening but then it goes away (disappears) except it is still showing on my task bar at the bottom.
