  1. I managed to install Malwarebytes on my phone (by hitting the install button on play.google.com from my PC). The scan returned no threats or issues. I'll post the log for the Microsoft Safety Scanner once it's done.
  2. I just followed the steps under the "Force Reset Google Chrome" section in the guide you linked. Running Malwarebytes now.
  3. I don't know how exactly the steps would vary for me. Sync for Chrome has been paused since I lost my google account yesterday so I ran malwarebytes today morning with sync effectively disabled. I'm not able to access the play store on my mobile (because it's asking me to login with the hacked google account which I can't) and I don't want to remove the hacked account from my phone because then I'd lose all the emails and photos that I can at least view on it currently. How do you propose going about this?
  4. Hi, attaching a few more logs for the PC. AdwCleaner was not able to find any threats. log.txt Malwarebytes Log.txt
  5. Hi, I'm running the ESET scan and will post the log once it's done. I have an Android phone. How do I go about scanning it?
  6. Hey, as of 3 hours ago my Google account got hacked. In a matter of seconds, my 2FA device was changed, mobile number was changed and the recovery email was changed to the same email that got hacked (how is this even possible?). I also got logged out from all my devices and now they're all alien to google. Is it likely that the malware on my system was responsible for this? Also for some reason I'm unable to launch malwarebytes. Should I try performing the steps in safe mode?
  7. Thanks, I have followed the prescribed steps and restarted my PC. So how did you discover that the PC was infected? I had already run two programs (rkill and hitman pro) before sharing the reports with you but it seems they didn't get the job done.
  8. My laptop restarts after I start installation but I'm met with a "An error has occurred and Malwarebytes will not install on your computer" message. I've tried using the support tool to clean and reinstall Malwarebytes but that didn't work out either. Attaching the required logs. mbst-grab-results.zip
