  1. Well, here i am. I have installed MBAM again and done an image. I will report back in 4-5 days how this turned out, because the slowdown came creeping and was strongly noticeble first after some days. If so, i will run the tool and post here with the file.
  2. Then, i did exclusions in each for both programs. 360 even has a compatible mode one can set, just as MBAM. As i said in my first post, this is more of a problem report, i am not seeking help! If MBAM staff wants to investigate this or not to see if they can fix something, reproduce the issue, is up to them. I only "reported" this as a favour to someone after having tested this app about once a year since it moved from 1.75 and always having experienced thisandthat. Hence my user name. So now i thought, well i can report a problem at least once after all these years of trying it. Now i have. My work is done. I wish them good luck
  3. As i have mentioned a couple of times before, this problem is when backing up internally. That`s all i am talking about. Yes.
  4. Sounds odd, since i used a uninstaller app that cleaned everything about MBAM out but, ok, i will do that. I`ll revert before to the last image with MBAM and then run the tool.
  5. As i said, i have uninstalled it but i can install it again and do the suggested. Should i do a backup before using the tool so there is something to log or how do i go about this.
  6. Just when i thought that i have mentioned everything, i see i don`t have. I tried the exclusion way, no go. That`s when i uninstalled because if not even that works, then one is out of options. I did not mention it because it is not relevant. I only also did some external ones but so few that i did not really have a chance to take much notice of an eventual slowdown.
  7. When doing differential backups internally i noticed that, after MBAM install, that they toke longer so i did a A and B test. Backuped a state, uninstalled MBAM and deleted that backup so i backed up the exact same state but without MBAM then. It went from c:a 3 1/2 min to a little bit over 6min. I did so a couple of times so the answer was conclusive, if it is not so that it takes almost 3min to backup MBAM . So besides experiencing the slowdown several times for a couple of days, i documented it. So on my system, it is a fact.
  8. Hi This is really more of a report of a problem. With the latest stable MBAM, that i installed for the first time for years, it causes severe slowdowns when backing up with Macruim Reflect v.8. Up to 40-45% slower backups is what i get. After uninstalling, back to normal. I did not install again.
