  1. OK thanks. mogrify indeed changes files in-place - crops images, etc... so does convert.exe, if you want to whitelist that too!
  2. Hope this is the right scan log you need (attached txt at the bottom). So what are the chances of some keygen or crack infecting the innocent mogrify and making it truly dangerous? 50/50 ? https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/68c4e15ec1fecbdc976c36a8a267893822e754db529455c03a1e8fa2ba50f0e5/detection latest scan.txt
  3. Hello, This is the software installer I used, and it's the mogrify.exe file within that is being flagged as ransomware. https://download.imagemagick.org/ImageMagick/download/binaries/ImageMagick-7.1.0-4-Q16-HDRI-x64-dll.exe mogrify.exe worked just fine yesterday, and today it just gets deleted by MWB. Even reinstalling ImageMagic doesn't help. MWB immediately deletes it. Is it a common thing for other suspect files (which MWB isn't flagging) to infect legit files (like this one should be)?
