I have been using MWB for years now. Why has auto-update never worked? I want it to work. Please help.

I paid for a 4 machine set of MWB, but I can't use it on my iphone??? I hope there's a work around. This isn't right, at least this wasn't disclosed prior to purchase. Please advise. Thanks.
