  1. Thanks for the offer. In the meantime, after I used the support tool to do the uninstall, and then manually removed the Malwarebytes directory under "C:\Program Files", I went ahead and did a clean install with a freshly downloaded copy of Malwarebytes. It seems to be working fine, and didn't report anything of concern on the PC when I ran a scan. So it's looking like all is good.
  2. Thanks. It didn't previously let me do that, but I tried again just now and the directories are gone.
  3. Recently I attempted to update Malwarebytes Free on my Windows 10 Pro PC, but found that it hung partway through the process. I therefore thought I'd uninstall, then reinstall from scratch. When I ran Windows' Uninstall process, it bailed partway through saying that an error had occurred. After browsing past posts here, I next downloaded a copy of the current version of Malwarebytes Support Tool, and ran its Clean process to remove the software. When it completed, it stated that all components of Malwarebytes were removed. However, after rebooting, I'm still seeing a directory C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes, and a subdirectory \Anti-Malware, which contains a couple of .exe's, many .dll's, and other files totaling about 134 MB. Any suggestions on what I need to do to get absolutely all components of Malwarebytes removed from the PC? Thanks in advance.
