  1. I forgot to mention that every daily scan finds three files, I mark them to quarantine and they return every day. Two seem to be related to Restoro. Why don't these get deleted and not keep reappearing?
  2. I purchased Malwarebytes because I thought it my find and fix this problem, but it doesn't seem to help. Here's my dilemma, if I shutdown my computer and restart it, every time it restarts some program is running that resets all my settings, Every browser is reset to initial load status (welcome to Chrome or welcome to Edge screens come up). No history, no bookmarks, no saved passwords. Plus, it wipes out lots of other things, including my printer settings (goes to printing in B&W, for instance), it resets Dropbox so File Manager doesn't see it. The MOST annoying is that I have two software programs that allow only two activations of the software and this rogue agent is wiping those settings out, so that the software thinks I have an active version of the software running and won't let me activate again. Any one have any ideas? I read some crazy theory that restarting my computer four times in a row will fix this but thought that sounded absurd (almost Windows-ish absurd, so perhaps real).
