  1. Thanks David for the confirmation/re-assurance. It's my understanding the subscription can be cancelled at any moment so I'm not obligated to continue the subscription after the first year should the price increase. Thanks again.
  2. Hi there, I was wondering if I purchase the Plus subscription on the Black Friday sale, do I have to use the VPN service that comes with the subscription? At the moment I only want to use Malwarebytes Premium but unfortunately there is no BF deal with just that. The Plus subscription is the best financial deal for me but it comes with VPN. If I understand it right, I have to download something and set up an VPN account to make the VPN active, right? So if I don't do that, I don't use the VPN, right? And I can just and only use Premium on 3 devices? Thanks!
  3. Hi, My yearly renewal is coming up and there is always one thing I'm not sure about. If I purchase it for 3 devices (the plus subscription), can I install that subscription across different platforms? I have a computer that runs on Windows and two mobile devices (smartphone and tablet) that both run on android. For all three devices I have a separate Malwarebytes subscription. If I purchase Malwarebytes for 3 devices, can I install and use it for those 3 I mention? (so I can stop with the separate subscriptions) I know I can install it on Windows and Android but I guess it's the 'across platforms' I find confusing since Malwarebytes for Android is downloaded from the play store (and paid as such) and Malwarebytes for Windows is not. Thank you, Libby
  4. Hi Shadowwar, no other detections where alarming in any way. I was overly cautious, as it seems. Thanks for letting me know.
  5. Since I cannot edit my message, let me just add another edit. I have read that thread and it seems I indeed enabled 'Expert systems algorithms'. That will show me not to be so paranoid anymore 🤪 and enable settings I probably not fully understand. It also explained why, for years, those mentioned files where not flagged since that setting was not always enabled. So I think everything is good and safe. Thanks for helping and informing me. Take care.
  6. Edit: I just saw the thread ' Malware.Heuristic.100X Detections and Explanation' which probably is applicable on my files. Let me read that first. I am sorry for any inconvenience.
  7. Hi, I think I have a couple of false positives. I installed the Big Fish game 'Dark City - Vienna Collectors Edition' years ago and, despite me scanning regularly, just now Malware Bytes all of a sudden gave a couple of Malware.Heuristic.1003. Included are the requested .txt file and the supposedly infected game files. Hopefully those false positives can be fixed/restored, assuming they are indeed false. If not, please let me know. If you need additional information, please let me know as well. Thank you. Dark City - Vienna CE Detected Files.rar Dark City - Vienna CE Scan results.txt
  8. Hi Atribune, I have included two exe files of the same game because I am not sure which one it is. How the file is called in MalwareBytes is not the same as how it's called in the installation directory. But the false positive is an .exe. Therefore I have included both files that could be used to start the game. After reinstalling the game, I could launch it again without troubles. If more Big Fish game files follow, should I report them again? Thank you for your help. Fairy Godmother Stories Dark Deal exe.rar
  9. Wow, you are quick. Thank you @Atribune. Do you still need me to upload the other file that gave a false positive (Revo is still loading so I need to wait before I can remove and reinstall it).
  10. I forgot to include the file that gave the false positive. So here it is. The other one is not in the quarantine anymore so I am going to see if I can re-install that game again to get my hands on the file that triggered the false positive. wkbwdlx.rar
  11. Not even that option (not to follow). I figured as much. Thanks for clarifying that @Porthos.
  12. PS. Since I cannot edit my message: I am not allow to edit my profile to set it on 'do not follow' (Error code: 2C138/3). If someone can help me with that as well, that would be great.
  13. Hi, MalwareBytes gave two malware notifications of games I have played many times without MalwareBytes flagging them. That's why I think they are false positives. Upon googling I came upon an article saying how I can report this to support. The games being flagged are: Legendary Tales - Stolen Life CE and Fairy Godmother Stories - Dark Deal. I've included the .txt files. I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you. False Positive - Fairy Godmother Stories - Dark Deal.txt False Positive - Legendary Tales - Stolen Life CE.txt
