  1. The new windows defender feature, Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection, blocks the ransomware driver from running. I figure that the ransomware driver will have to be adjusted for this at some point in the future.
  2. Windows Defender was recently updated with a new protection option as of yesterday: Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection. It and Malwarebytes Ransomware Protection cannot currently coexist together. Upon enabling the new protection option (most users will turn it on since Defender flags your computer as unsafe otherwise) and rebooting the computer, Ransomware Protection will be unable to turn on and will otherwise be disabled. I'm disabling the new Defender feature and won't turn it back on until there is some compatibility between the two.
  3. I came across a thread on Reddit about checking if your 3rd party antivirus supports BypassIO, a new I/O path that is apparently part of DirectStorage. Someone else already commented on this about Malwarebytes. I checked and had the same results. Is BypassIO compatibility on the feature roadmap for new versions of Malwarebytes?
  4. About 20 minutes ago, Malwarebytes flagged some windows 10 registry keys and files as malware. I've uploaded two images of everything it flagged. Am I right that this is a false positive, or should I be concerned?
