  1. In my case, MB is flagging PIA .exe files, and the VPN isn't connected; there shouldn't be traffic going through the VPN for me to worry about infecting my device. Sure, if I connect the VPN, that would make sense that I'm allowing all traffic through without any protection. However, that is not the case, and MB flags PIA simply when it's sitting in my Taskbar connected to nothing. I also think it's odd that there is the ability to add exceptions, regardless if they are secure/smart or not, but MB ignores them and does its own thing. Why is the ability to create exceptions there if MB ignores it?
  2. I've submitted about this before, and the answer was for me to remove Malwarebytes, LOL! I don't understand why MB still flags activity if you'd entered the specific .exe in the exception list. Shouldn't that activity be allowed and ignored by MB?
  3. Wow, I see this is still an ongoing issue, but why does this issue not happen with other AV products? I'm running Bit Defender and I never have issues with it flagging on PIA IPs. Turning off notifications is a big no-no and I cannot believe someone would even recommend that. I guess I'll check back periodically, but until this issue is addressed and fixed I'll be turning off Malwarebytes and putting a pause on renewing.
