  1. Thanks for the information, I'll just wait for someone to confirme (like you say, just to fill in that 2% doubt in my mind).
  2. First of all thank you for this. So the version on the images is the legit one? I was just confused because I didn't see any refferences on MB website
  3. In March, when I asked about what AV should use I also was recommend to use MB Browser Guard extension on Chrome (my main Browser) and experts reffered also that it is not avaliable for Safari. Going on the App Store, in the area of extension for safari I saw the extension (image 1). I got curious and went to check the MB official site abou the extension and it says (still) "Only for Chrome, Firefox and Edge". Is this a legit or an impersonater. Sorry for any miss spells (english is not my primary language, as you can see in the images) and also sorry if this is the wrong section to insert the topic. Best regards, MS PS: link for my original post:
  4. Okay @alvarnell got it. It is the exact same as you, same day. I'm assuming the new version of MB you got, 4.11.7, is from beta updates, which I have off, rigth?
  5. @alvarnell It is 4.10.4 (not sure if it is this what you asked).
  6. I also got the version 4.10.4. Searching for updates, it says this is the most recent one.
  7. @alvarnell I'm not asking again, I'm also giving a little hand on responding to someone who made the same question as I did. I like checking the forum once in a while, found this and thought on responding. Sorry if I did something I shouldn't. PS: you did reply me at the time, I'm 99% sure. I kept everything as you and other members and staff suggested me and works perfectly!
  8. I asked the same question here a few months ago and answers were that MB is enoguh protection if coupled with a browser extensions, such as their own (MB browser guard for chorme and firefox) and/or an AdBlock.
  9. Okay, thank you very much for the attention
  10. @Porthos but does this remove a lot of security on web browsing or doesnt have massive impact?
  11. I went to visit the Hacksmith Industries website, out of his description of a video and MB Browser Guard showed this : Is this right and I just have to check the "Don't block again" box or a FP?
  12. @treed I got the MB web Guard and Avast online security Extension (using chrome, I don't use Safari). Thank you and thanks to everyone for the help!
  13. I recently installed MB on my macbook. Do I need another AV software (and if so, what do you recommend?) to complement my computer's security? What does MB don't protect me from that another AV does? Best regards, MS
