Thank you. I am not seeing that option in the Malwarebytes console. I see "exploit protection" but it's not clickable and there's no advanced anything anywhere. Do I have the wrong console? And actually, the app appears to be working now. I had reinstalled it earlier today as was someone's suggestion on a prior topic. However, the app still prevented PowerPoint from opening so I turned off exploit protection. I just turned it on again just now, opened PowerPoint, and it stayed opened. SO I am not sure what the problem was or how it was fixed, but it's fixed now. The "advanced settings" you mention are a mystery to me. Thank you for your help.

I've seen this mentioned on multiple topics dated recently and historically. I have not seen any suggestion that worked for me, yet, so I'm creating a fresh topic to push it to the top. As of today, I am unable to open powerpoint. Used it just fine last night and every day prior to now. I have added ppt files, then added the program to the allow list. Does not help.
