  1. I was able to run the fixlist you last gave me. Here are the results: Fix result of Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (x64) Version: 07-02-2021 02 Ran by Admin (08-02-2021 11:21:19) Run:2 Running from C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\Utilities\FRST Loaded Profiles: Admin Boot Mode: Normal ============================================== fixlist content: ***************** File: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\pcw.sys REG: REG QUERY "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\pcw" /s ***************** ========================= File: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\pcw.sys ==
  2. I think clean boot wasn't able to remove it from registry. As for FRST, I still can't run the fix. It's the same error again and again.
  3. Thank you so much for the help so far! I finally fixed it by killing the task as I mentioned earlier and by removing it from the registry editor where it was set to run automatically upon startup. Now my task manager has no problems!
  4. WAIT! I actually found the program that was causing it! I was tinkering with my running processes with cmd and I tried terminating qtLaunch.exe since it seemed suspicious and now my task manager works again! But I don't know how to get rid of this.
  5. I'm performing it now. Can I ask if reinstalling windows would resolve this issue?
  6. I added some log files from Adwcleaner since I performed some scanning and cleaning before coming to this forum for help. I'm also sorry for the duplicated files because it was really hard trying to comment because of the attached error.
  7. Sorry for being late, I've been receiving some error trying to reply to your comment. I've doing everything I could to reply to your comment but your spam protection system won't let me. I'm really starting to get annoyed now. Fixlog.txt MBScan.txt AdwCleaner[C00].txt AdwCleaner[S00].txt AdwCleaner[S01].txt AdwCleaner[S02].txt msert.log Fixlog.txt msert.log MBScan.txt Fixlog.txt
  8. I am currently faced with an issue with my task manager where when I open it, it immediately closes after .5/1 second(s). I think I might've downloaded some file somewhere earlier but I already deleted my recent downloads. I tried /taskkill command using cmd since I found 2 console tasks that were suspicious but once I killed them, they just come back immediately. I will be highlighting the 2 tasks in the attached photos (mservicecpu.exe and xservicegpu.exe). Although I'm not really sure whether these 2 are the cause of my problem since no results come out when I try to search for them on Goog
