  1. Thank you so much for helping me through all of this! It's a big relief to know everything is gone and my computer is still safe.
  2. I updated Zoom, but now I have 2 ZoomInstaller.exe. Can I delete one of them? I also ended up uninstalling Microsoft Teams because I have never used it. I checked the settings to make sure I have notifications set to ask first and I already had the Malwarebytes extension added. However, I tried checking for the new Windows 10 update, but it says that it is "not ready for my device."
  3. I did 2 back to back full scans which both came back as nothing detected. Is it safe to assume this is because the zip folder has been deleted and the shortcut no longer leads anywhere? I also ran Windows Defender quick scan which also said no threats were detected.
  4. I didn't follow the instructions too well with the above posted .txt. This one should be correct one. malwarebyte_pup_scan(1).txt
  5. I uninstalled the FRST program and it is no longer on my computer. I took a look at the file location I mentioned earlier and there a quarantine zip folder in there after the uninstall and restart. It says that file type is "shortcut." How concerned should I be? I will be doing another Malwarebyte scan to doublecheck. malwarebyte_pup_scan.txt
  6. While I was waiting, I decided to do a Malwarebyte scan which flagged one of the quarantine zip folders. The other, which I had accidently downloaded is marked as a copy and then moved back into the FRST folder was not flagged. The other location that was flagged was in AppData\ROAMING\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\Quarantine.zip.Ink. Do I just click "close" since uninstalling FRST will be deleting the file anyways? And since I moved the copy of the quarantine zip folder into the FRST folder, will that one also be deleted?
  7. My Downloads folder also has a "FRST-OlderVersion" folder. Will the uninstall process on the "current version" remove the older ones too?
  8. While trying to add the compressed folder, I accidently created a copy of it. Is it safe to delete normally? Quarantine.zip
  9. I did several quick scans with Windows Defender and they all had no threats detected. The number of files that got scanned each time did change and I was wondering if that is normal. I also have another question. Earlier, when the Farbar Recovery Tool didn't restart itself, would it have been okay if I had restarted the computer myself? Back when it didn't have the popup to restart, the program had closed completely and was no longer visible on the screen. I also want to apologize for my previous message. My word choice was not the best and may have come off as rude. I only meant to doublecheck with you about the differences in the folder names. I did not mean to offend you in any way and am extremely grateful for all of the help you have given me. I hope that you are still willing to help guide me through the next steps.
  10. I reran the scan and got the restart this time. The Thundersea folder is still in the Program Files (x86) folder. Also, I looked at the fixlog.txt and I think there might be a typo in the delete command. Fixlog.txt
  11. I attached the fixlog.txt, but also wanted to let you know that the program did not have a popup requesting a restart this time. The last few times had a popup and the program stayed on screen. This time the program closed itself. Fixlog.txt
  12. I looked up the $Recycle.Bin folder so ignore the original question, but I should try and find the missing file, yes?
  13. Is it normal for the recycle bin to be called this?
  14. Alright, so I think I uninstalled Microsoft Office. It didn't show up in the uninstall section of the control panel, but I was able to uninstall from the Windows start menu. I might have confused it with the Microsoft 365, but I can reinstall that later. After those uninstalls, because I didn't check in between, a folder got updated and "Pipeline.v10.0" was added to it. Some other files were also modified, but are they safe because they aren't the file types you listed (ie. .SWIDTAG, .DAT, .XML, etc.)? I also uninstalled a game from the Control panel, but the applications still exist in my Downloads folder. Can I just throw it in the recycle bin along with the .txt files from VulkanRT folder? The OneUpdater files should be C:\Program Files (x86), right? I took a look at the other folders that got modified on 1/15/2021 (the day I initially downloaded what I assume was a bundle) and included those too. There are some files in Program Data that I found. I'm not to sure what this folder is for since it is technically a hidden folder. Program Data Folder: "Uniqueld" has a "file" called "data" in it, my computer doesn't say what type. Avast also has a "file" with the name being a string of numbers (located in a "burger_client folder"), some .txt in their Log folder, an ASAVTLIC file?, and a .DAT file. Winzip has a .DAT file The Microsoft folder have a .txt, .json, and .xml files. The "reggid.1991-06..." folder has a .swidtag inside of it. There is an entire McAfee folder in here for the Web advisor as well The Program Files Folder: The Common Files folder in Program Files was modified, but everything visible in the folder has modified dates from before Jan 15. A click to run folder for "microsoft shared" is empty. There was a McAfee Javascript called "trusted" if that is important? There is also a McAfee WebAdvisor folder The WindowsApp folder says it is empty since Jan 15, but was created in 2019, I don't know what could have been in there. Program Files (x86) Folder: VulkanRT has .txt files Oneupdater has 4 files s Miscrosoft.NET was modified today and only has 2 .xml files from 2019 remaining. Pipeline.v10.0 has a Store file inside and was modified today. Other Local Disk (C:) Folders: Intel Folder was modified Jan 19 and is empty except for 4 .txt files Recovery Folder was modified Jan 15, and claims to be empty. Computer wants permission before I can take a look inside. Windows Folder has 3 .txt and a .dat file that were added after Jan 15. One is labeled as "WindowsUpdate.txt" and another called "bootstat.dat" from today I only looked for modified files and folders in local disk because everything else is empty, to my knowledge. Of the additional modified files, let me know if you need images for them as well as when to start the windows 10 update.
  15. Would it be safer to just to factory reset if I'm still concerned about all this? Is it safe to assume that the viruses would be gone for good if I did that?
  16. The system seems the same as before the downloads, but I'm still scared about something secretly running in the background. The only things left from that batch of downloads that may be affected is the Minecraft launcher and Microsoft Office which got modified when the virus got downloaded. If I don't plan on using either, is it safe to uninstall them normally through the control panel? Things that got downloaded and are still in Program Files (x86) is a folder of 3 .txt files in something called "VulkranRT" and another folder that still has an uninstaller and application in a folder called Thundersea, but is called "OneUpdater" when I look in the folder. The application says the company is "Thundersea Soln" if that helps? Would it be safe to uninstall/ delete them normally as well since they were never detected as threats? And I saw the in the Quarantine folder in the FRST folder. Will it just be there permanently? My understanding is that it is harmless at this point, but I don't like the thought of having still be on my computer. SecurityCheck.txt
  17. Nothing was detected in the Housecall scan. It did ask to check my network, but I'm assuming that is to promote their other product? Fixlog.txt
  18. I can't find the first fixlist.txt and I never deleted it myself. Is it fine to continue?
  19. Hi again, just letting you know the full scan is still running. So far, I'm at 400000+ files scanned and 4 detections. In the mean time, how worried should I be about the viruses I might have gotten?
  20. I tried to look for the folder which appears to be gone now. However, there is an Alsephina folder that has a "SegSetup" application in side with the "Web Discover" application. Neither have a clear uninstall option and do not show up in the uninstall section of the control panel. A similar folder has something in it called "HolcusTropicalSoftqom" application. Some other folders that got downloaded in with Segurazo are also still on my computer, would it be safe to delete the ones that are .txt files and use the uninstaller on the other? The one that still has an uninstaller is called "Thundersea."
