Thanks for the prompt and helpful replies. I haven't had a chance to try the possible solutions yet because I won't be on my home computer until after Christmas. I do have the free version so I'll see what happens and post the result.

I updated the program yesterday and it added a new version. When I tried to install it I received the following error message: Error creating registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware_is1 RegCreateKeyEx failed; code 5 Access is denied. When I click ok it rolls back the installation. I ran RootRepeal and nothing came up. I renamed the MBAM exe program and that didn't work. I am running Windows XP Service Release 3 and Symantec AntiVirus. Any recommendations to get the program installed? Thanks
