Hi everyone.
I've recently built a brand new machine and have new AMD 5800x CPU. I've noticed my temps at idle reaching 50-55c and CPU is in constant 4-4.7ghz boost.
I found out that when I open task manager the temps drops to 30s and CPU is at 600-700mhz and stays like that until I close the task manager.
That leads me to a suspicion that there is some process that is on only when task manager is closed? Is that even possible?
Worth notic my pc is new but I retained my old drives including os drive that I've used without formatting for 4 years now. I did uninstall
