Using Block Site - Website Blocker for Chrome.

Lately, I have been bombed with popups and redirects when using Chrome. The sites are all vendor related; turning on popup blocker does not work. I installed the "Blocker" extension. Now, the notifications that a site has been blocked results in a popup from Blocker announcing it's action. Any suggestions?
