  1. Alright didn't think it would be as easy as deleting that, but thanks anyway, I'll keep a lookout if the freezing in my games continues, and will let you know if I see it again. Appreciate all the help.
  2. The fix is done, but checking in that folder it is still there. Fixlog.txt
  3. I uninstalled BlueStacks with revo uninstaller, and removed all the related registries and files, but the ChromiumUpdate.exe is still there, and when checked on virustotal returns the same stuff.
  4. Ok, reinstalled and restarted, I'll let you know if I get the problem again, although sometimes it's quite inconsistent for it to show up. Also, what do you recommend I do with that sketchy chromium update exe? Thanks for the quick replies and trying to help
  5. https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/d455b8f0010619165726b2c3f90027fc52c0cda8e6d6cf9381bcc2cdce755eb0/detection
  6. No I've never checked out chromium source code, what should I do about these?
  7. I do have a license, I'm not sure why it would show that I was on a trial. I get all the real time protection stuff.
  8. Right so I'm getting the bug in the 2 games I'm playing currently, Realm of the Mad God and Stick Fight: The Game, both on steam. I think it would happen to other games also but these are the 2 I've been playing currently. Just had 2 freezes while playing they happened like 10 minutes apart, and both times I saw the process in task manager go to like 15% CPU usage, then I turned malwarebytes off and it didn't happen again.
  9. Just trying to make sure that it's definitely malwarebytes causing the issues so I don't waste your time, I'll let you know when I know for sure.
  10. I've been confused as to what is causing these freezes so I kept the task manager process list open on the other monitor. When the freeze happens Malwarebytes Service goes from little usage to about 10-20% usage and that's when I get these random freezes on my game. Any help would be appreciated, and if there are any log files of the sort that I can produce to help you help me that'd be great.
