It was blocking it and showing in the detection logs as c:\users\)User)AppData\Roaming\Grammarly\Updates\GrammarlyAddInSetup6.8.249.exe A good old fashioned uninstall and reinstall fixed it. working now. thank you though.

Users are reporting today that malwarebytes is blocking the grammarly add in for office.
