  1. Porthos - My Office uses a Domain Controller and our Workstations authenticate to the domain. Customer systems connect to the network for internet access - generally 1-6 hours depending on what I am doing for them. Some are repeat customers who have been connected before. The first thing I do when I begin to work on a customer system is install and/or update Malwarebytes and run a scan. Then I make sure they have a functioning antivirus program installed, make sure it is up to date and run and scan. If these scans reveal more than the threats I commonly see I will run Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit and HitmanPro.
  2. I am in a business setting, they are not. I am servicing their laptop, in my business location, and they will use it at home. I connected the laptop to my network to gain internet access so I could work with the laptop. Would Malwarebytes force me to buy a Business License for customers who use their equipment at home? This laptop is running Windows 10 Home 64-bit and could not authenticate to a domain. I decided to ask this question on Malwarebytes Forum thinking I most likely wasn't the first to encounter this problem. It sounds like I need to find an alternative program and move my customers to it. Thanks!
  3. I didn't think to screenshot the licensing message - my bad. I am serving the laptop today.
  4. I could remove the Registry entry. Typically a customer system will have more than one threat detected. This one will just need updates and some cleanup.
  5. This is from a customer laptop - not joined to my domain but using my network for Internet access. Here is the screenshot. Thanks!
  6. I use l Malwarebytes Free for many of my customers so I can scan their PC and remove any threats as part of a basic cleanup and update service. I have a small domain in the office but my customers are not part of my domain. Version 4.2.1 is now saying that some of these customers need a license to remove the threats found on their systems. A few have purchased the premium version but most don't. Is there a way to keep these customers systems from being identified as part of my small domain or will I need to move to a different program? Thanks!
