  1. Alright, I will make a system restore point and enable other settings. Thanks for your help once again.
  2. Thanks for your response, I have done another security check. SecurityCheck.txt
  3. I did the MCT thing and it repaired my computer fully. Thanks for your help.
  4. So the windows operating system can be kept onto computer even if you take out the usb? And doesent all the files go to your laptop from the usb?
  5. Alright, I will format my Usb drive. But I have a question. Is the Media creation tool going to have to stay on usb permanently or can I just put it into my laptop and use it without usb?
  6. I put some files in my Usb Drive but I can remove them, its nothing important. I will do the Media creation tool in my Usb drive but, I feel risky about it as in: Will it delete my downloads, documents, and other important stuff if I repair? And what format does the Usb drive need to be formatted to in order to work with my computer?
  7. I read the article and I do not know if my usb is 32 bit or 64 bit. All I know is that it Fat32, is a flash drive, and has 16 gb.
  8. Hello, I recently got an 16gb usb thumb flash drive. I don't know if its a flash drive but hopefully it is. I will now do a repair install on my computer. But first, I need to know how to put files into a usb thumb flash drive.
  9. I am getting my usb thumb flash drive by tomorrow. I'll let you know when I get it.
  10. Sorry, I forgot to respond to this fourm. I am currently getting a usb thumb flash drive for my computer.
  11. No, I meant that when I try to drag and drop the files into my desktop, it says I don't have admins perms to do so. I had admin perms before until I downloaded a virus that took it away.
  12. Hello, thanks for your response. I could not get the logs to any of the virus scanners but for the first one, it removed a virus that was tampering with the windows defender. And the Kaspersky Virus Scanner did not detect anything. What I mean to admin permissions were like: I could not drag or delete a file into desktop, I could not use specific services. This happened when I downloaded a separate file or service which took away my admin perms.
