  1. Hey Keith, So, it's been 2 days and so far I haven't seen the PUPs show up at all and bootup is much faster. I'm now just using the Task Manager to continually reduce my disk usage from all the system services to clean up some of CPU performance, but as it stands, I think you've helped me solve my issues! Again, I really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to help me with this. I've sent another donation your way for all your assistance. Cheers! Daniel
  2. I followed the instructions and it seemed to work. The PUPs did not show up this time when I did adwcleaner. I also went into the services.msc and disabled SysMain because I caught it causing the 100% disk issue that I've been chasing down as well. I'll report back after a day or so to see if my laptop remains clean.
  3. Did that. Adwcleaner still brings back the same result. PUP.optional.conduit and PUP.optional.legacy keep returning.
  4. So, went through the instructions and set windows up for "Clean Boot" mode and I still found adwcleaner still found the two PUPs. Attached is the log. AdwCleaner[C16].txt
  5. The scan came back clean, but then after I did used adwcleaner just to see if the pups are still there and both Pup.optional.conduit and Pup.optional.legacy are still there. Again, my laptop is still running faster and with far less issues, but I'm confused why these keep coming back when I boot up my laptop even after adwcleaner removes them. mbar-log-2020-09-28 (17-08-31).txt system-log.txt
  6. Nope. Adwcleaner finds conduit and legacy right after I boot up without opening any programs. My slack opens on bootup, but I don't have anything else that starts on bootup.
  7. Yeah. They're still popping up, but my laptop is booting up faster and isn't consistently consistently running at 100% disk.

  9. Oops. Sorry, I thought I had exported to a .txt file, but apparently I exported the JSON file. lol, I thought it looked more like code than anything else. 11. Hey Kevin, No apologies necessary! Appreciate you taking the time out of your day to help me out. FRST.txt Addition.txt AdwCleaner[C10].txt AdwCleaner[S10].txt
  12. Actually, Keith I just started my laptop today, noticed it was running incredibly slow, ran adwcleaner again and found that the two PUPs were back again. Please advise.
  13. So far, I haven't had any issues with the 100% disk usage which was what first made me follow the trail to those PUPs, so it seems like we're good! Only have a bit of a longer boot time when I booted up today, but we'll see if that was just this one time or if it remains consistent. Really appreciate your help Kevin. Just sent you a donation for your assistance!
  14. Ah. My apologies. I thought I had uploaded it with the last reply. Fixlog.txt
