  1. And yet it worked fine until a few days ago. So unless Fastmail did something weird, I still blame Malwarebytes. Why? Because the "unsafe content" is fetched from domains that worked fine before. So nothing has changed in that respect. Unless suddenly several unrelated domains have, at the exact same time, began hosting malicious content. Extremely unlikely.
  2. Malwarebytes seems to have become way too aggressive in detecting 'malicious' links lately. Links I know for a fact are not. The fastmail one is a good example.

  4. OK. I can't remember if that was off or not. But I disabled the AI option. I can turn it back on and see whether it detects the false positives again.
  5. Alright, I had to see if I was correct, so I checked the logs and it says: Scan Type: Threat Scan Scan Initiated By: Scheduler Heuristics: Enabled Filesystem: Enabled Does this tell anything about which scan "module" is used?
  6. Hi. It's the "Use expert system algorithms to identify malicious files". It has only ever detected false positives.
  7. ..and to add insult to injury, I get a mail from Malwarebytes proudly proclaiming that it has protected me. I know I can report false positives, but I simply don't have the time. I know heuristics and such is hard, but come on..
