  1. Hello Maurice! "Automatic quarantine" is hidden behind a premium malwarebytes lock; however, it is enabled automatically anyway. I ran the scan and got 0 detections, I have attached the report. scan result.txt
  2. Sorry about that! I added a link to one of my logs (S00) inside the text. I wasn't paying attention; make sure to download that log too! (Incase it is unavailable for you, I have attached the log in this reply too) AdwCleaner[C00].txt AdwCleaner[S00].txt
  3. Sorry for the late response! I was bAdwCleaner[S00].txtusy procrastinating from fixing my pc... yeah, not very smart. Two logs show up in my logs folder. I have attached them in my reply. AdwCleaner[C00].txt
  4. I found 1 potentially unwanted application. I have attached the result logs. Take care, Maurice! eset scanner backup results.txt
  5. Hello Maurice! Good meeting you again! I have only ran one scan with only the Malwarebytes scanner. Windows Defender has not found anything suspicious either. I have no deleted all cache files and history in the web browser; I will do that now. I have just now deleted all cache files from my browser. I will be running the ESET online scanner tool and I will get back to you once the run has completed.
  6. I was searching for Rocket League (videogame) content, and saw a cool headline under a dodgy website. Unfortunately, I did not realise that this website wasn't traditional; judging by the title, I thought it was reddit. It wasn't. When I clicked on the title in the 1st page of the google search, it redirected me to the following link (CAUTION IN CLICKING IT!!!!): http://usd.mnason-hec.com/zcredirect?visitid=320d4767-10b8-11eb-b8b9-129cd1073261&type=js&browserWidth=1920&browserHeight=1007&iframeDetected=false When it redirected me to this link, my chrome crashed i
  7. Thank you very, very much, Maurice! I am glad that my computer is safe from these viruses, and I will definitely use your advice and tips in my daily computer usage so that I can stay as safe as possible. I'm glad we had this interaction, you were brilliant. I don't think I've said it enough, but THANK YOU!! Sincerely, PVG.
  8. Things are looking well for me so far! See for yourself. eset online scanner results.txt
  9. Okay Maurice, I did the scan and have the files. I have attached the fixlog. Thank you for your patience. Fixlog.txt
  10. Alright. Another heads up: I will do this process next Monday (7th of September) because that is when I will be away from the computer for 6 hours for school. Expect a reply from me at around 4pm BST Monday. Thank you for your help so far, it is very appreciated.
  11. Thank you, I slept well. I figured out how to run Command Prompt in Administrator mode, so I just did that, and here are the results: C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them. For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline repairs, details are included in the log
  12. Alright, thanks. Just a heads up that I will do Step 2 in around 12 hours when I wake up, as I don't have a lot of time left, and not enough time for a scan certainly. I hope you can understand these complications. As soon as I finish step 2, I will send you the results. Goodnight.
  13. I do not see the option for command prompt (admin) when I press the windows key and X key at the same time.
  14. I have a problem. When I try to load the sfc /scannow command, it gives me this prompt: You must be an administrator running a console session in order to use the sfc utility. As far as I'm aware, the windows account I use for windows is the administrator account on my PC, so I assume the problem is "running a console session." How may I do that? Thanks.
  15. Thank you, Maurice, for replying to me so quickly. Malwarebytes still has not disappointed me. Please refer to me as 'PVG'. I trust you that the files attached in the zip are not harmful to my PC nor my privacy. I followed as you said, and have a zip file, and have attached it. Please let me know if any of the results are alarming. Sincerely, PVG. mbst-grab-results.zip
