  1. Hi Guys. Sorry I'm a bit late - I found about FinallyFast first here. Watched some Youtube videos, And I called them my self - Exact same position as Jeff. I made a sticky on the Comodo Forums about FinallyFast. So all credit goes here. :-) Cheers, Josh
  2. Yes, Comodo Firewall passes Shields up! 100%. As far as pop ups go, Next Comodo Firewall version (Comodo Internet Security) Will be MUCH quieter thanks to a massive whitelist+blacklist.
  3. This is a silly question, But TeMerc. 5 years or so ago, I use to really enjoy your posts at various security forums. But since I joined Comodo Forums as a moderator, been kind of off hehe... Are you now part of Malwarebytes' Customer Support? Just like to say cangrats... Because you were a leader to me in the security field! That is all. :-) Hope you read this and goodluck in the future!
  4. Sorry to double post but I also reccomend Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware at the Comodo Forums. :-) It rocks for on-demand !
  5. From my understanding, Steve Gibson (Shields up!) doesn't recommend ZoneAlarm free anymore, I don't know about the pro version. But to compare ZoneAlarm Free & Comodo Firewall protection, Comodo is simply unmatchable - with or without Defense+
  6. Thx Bruce. Quick Scan should be OK then. I watched a review on youtube with you regarding security stuff and quick scan is OK. Cheers.
  7. If I'm not mistaken, it takes on average 20 mins to create a signature for a malware! (If you want it done properly). Sometimes an hour for really nasty ones, But some are spottable within seconds. I guess that's why FP's are around.
  8. SUPERAntispyware should be able to detect & remove this. Try uninstalling & reinstalling MBAM too, use SAS as an alternative.
  9. Yep, That's what I though too. Thx m8.
  10. Hi Guys. Just wanted to give a heads up - I was testing some malware with COMODO Internet Security BETA, & the AV in CIS caught them, I quarantined them. I then did a scan with MBAM. Files Infected: C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\Quarantine\byXNeEUm.dll (Trojan.Vundo) -> No action taken. C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\Quarantine\install_asm_en.exe (Rogue.Installer) -> No action taken. C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\Quarantine\key.exe (Trojan.FakeAlert) -> No action taken. C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\Quarantine\nnnoNdbb.dll (Trojan.Vundo) -> No action taken. C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\Quarantine\Setup_ver1.1773.0.exe (Trojan.FakeAlert) -> No action taken. C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\Quarantine\ssqRHWND.dll (Trojan.Vundo) -> No action taken. Anyway - Is it normal for MBAM to find Quarantined malware like in CIS? Just a heads up... Quarantined malware IMO is harmless because it's like "locked in jail". But I am sure there is a good reason for it, If anyone can explain it would be great. Thanks!
  11. Okay... First of all, I only get my software from: http://www.filehippo.com/ Then I found this... After testing a VM with malware. MBAM Got rid of EVERYTHING... Well done guys!! I would like to GREATLY express my congratulations to the entire MBAM Crew, You guys are very talented people... All the guys who coded this software, And all the Researchers, You guys are REALLY GOOD... Hope you all getting GOOD Pay rises! Maybe I should donate or buy full version to make that happen! Anyway... This is the most impressive Anti-Malware app I have encountered, It compliments SUPERAntispyware (Another good one) & Avira AV very well... Sorry to be a little off topic but SAS & MBAM Kill Spybot & Ad-aware. I recommend it on the Comodo Forums. Thank you! P.S - Hope to see this on filehippo hehe!! Cheers, Josh
  12. All Good, Via internal updater. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.28 Database version: 1136 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 9/10/2008 7:06:21 PM mbam-log-2008-09-10 (19-06-21).txt Scan type: Full Scan (C:\|) Objects scanned: 62744 Time elapsed: 13 minute(s), 6 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: (No malicious items detected) Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected)
  13. Exactly the same problem: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.27 Database version: 1128 Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 9/8/2008 7:34:36 PM mbam-log-2008-09-08 (19-34-36).txt Scan type: Full Scan (C:\|) Objects scanned: 62207 Time elapsed: 12 minute(s), 41 second(s) Memory Processes Infected: 0 Memory Modules Infected: 0 Registry Keys Infected: 0 Registry Values Infected: 0 Registry Data Items Infected: 1 Folders Infected: 0 Files Infected: 0 Memory Processes Infected: (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Infected: (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Infected: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\scrfile\shell\open\command\ (Broken.OpenCommand) -> Bad: ("%1" %*) Good: ("%1" /S) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully. Folders Infected: (No malicious items detected) Files Infected: (No malicious items detected)
  14. COMODO Firewall Pro 3 with it's Defense+ is Great... Read the Benefits here: http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/benefits.html You can tweak just about any part of it, and once it learns your applications you use your sweet.
  15. BOClean will not have Windows 98/Me support, especially when it gets to v5. However, My vote for SAS.
