  1. How about a rollback on the update until this gets ferreted out?
  2. Ok so I did some more testing. Uninstalled MBAM, rebooted and re-installed as Administrator. Unchecked update at end of install. MBAM launches. Start Protection, no error. Check log, protection is running. Update and reboot. Protection errors, same log errors as above. Uninstall , reboot, reinstall again, no-updates. Start Protection, no error, started. Reboot. Start MBAM, open log protection started no error. I believe this would indicate a problem with the Update...
  3. I have a brand new Dell PC, just took it out of the box, Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit. Installed Malwarebytes on it and registered it. Get an erro when starting protection, [OpenEvent]....... Error Code:2. Uninstalled MBAM and reinstalled, same issue. PC came with a trial version of Norton - unactivated, so I uninstalled MBAM, uninstalled Norton, ran MBAM-Clean, ran the Norton Removal Tool, all followed by reboots, reinstalled MBAM and put the registration key in and still get the same error. Windows 7 has had all updates run. I am an reseller and have a reseller account with Malwarebytes. Would like to deliver this PC today, but can't with the error. Have installed MBAM on other Windows 7 PCs without issue. Any help would be appreciated.
