  1. The MWB installation went without a hitch. As the desktop had my Premium account and the desktop is now toast, I activated that account on this laptop. Again I can't thank you enough for all your help. You went out of your way and I really appreciate that! Cheri
  2. Life goes on. No hurry. It's late here and I'll check in tomorrow! Thank you
  3. One more thing you noted: I see you have 2 firewall blocks on Firefox - was that done on purpose? FirewallRules: [TCP Query User{24C2AE4D-FA4D-4878-A67F-D311F347AABD}C:\program files\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe] => (Block) C:\program files\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe (Mozilla Corporation -> Mozilla Corporation) FirewallRules: [UDP Query User{D511C3D0-F316-47B0-A1E6-52D445CDB861}C:\program files\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe] => (Block) C:\program files\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe (Mozilla Corporation -> Mozilla Corporation) Is this resolved or do I need to do something additional?
  4. I did not knowingly place the firewall blocks on Firefox. It is my primary browser. I presume I should remove them, but I'm not clear how. I ran a quick scan with Windows Defender (virus threat & protection) which ran in @ 5 min and resulted in zero threats Program Updates: removed Irfanview both versions; updated Zoom and Skype but Libreoffice and Thunderbird are running the updated versions you listed (I checked them anyway)
  5. I ran the FRST FIX with the fixlist. txt. I then ran FRST SCAN. I've attached the 3 files created Fixlog.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
  6. Not sure how that happened. I no longer have Webroot installed. I also had uninstalled NAV and for now am just using the Windows security. I have now downloaded the fixlist.txt from your post of Friday evening 7/31 which matches what you posted above (again I don't have NAV installed). I will run the FRST with the txt from above (running fix and not scan). Trust I've got that correct
  7. Coupon printer uninstalled Hopefully have fixed the Push Notifications. The MWB article was helpful Fixlog.txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
  8. DNS changes done and new settings are working. Again Lenovo scan reports no updates required
  9. Working on the DNS changes. Lenovo scan reports "no updates required"
  10. As far as I can tell, the updates for the bios and nvidia happened without incident.Files attached Cheri FRST.txt Addition.txt
  11. Thank you. Lenovo laptop Y50-70 Touch. IN case it matters, because I uninstalled NAV and was offline, I downloaded the 2 programs onto a USB (from my desktop) then installed and ran them on the laptop. Transferred the zip files to the USB so I could attach them here again using my desktop autoruns data.zip speccy file.zip
  12. If you are willing to try then I am willing. Ive uninstalled the NAV & disconnected my wifi for now. And I rebooted. No change Im wondering if I even need the NVIDIA? Thank you
