Hi, I have recently noticed that at around 12pm, I begin hearing ads or the radio playing on my laptop. I dont know when this could’ve started so trying to uninstall apps is futile. The sounds continue even when im just on the desktop not browsing and while im writing this, ive restarted the laptop twice and both times music started playing before the laptop fully booted. When i open the volume mixer, there are 2 options “Speakers” and “System sounds” neither of which fluctuate when the music is playing. I cant hear the music without headphones or earbuds plugged in but im unsure if theyre an issue. While Googling for a solution I came across this forum which mentioned Malwarebytes. I downloaded it and ran the scan which found 56 results which I then quarantined but still the sounds continued. Now that ive noticed its happening I cant stop hearing it and would really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.
