  1. Hello again Porthos Just to let you know, that a couple of days ago I updated to the latest version, that promised to resolve the slow loading of websites etc.,and I am pleased to sa, that things appear to be working fine now, thanks for your help. Many thanks
  2. Hello again Porthos Can you say for sure that the latest release, as per the link below, has resolved the W10, 64 problem of slowing down webpage loading and causing machines to hang on bootup? https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/vostro-2521/drivers Pany thanks
  3. Hi, just a quick update, I have done as you suggested, and the older version, with the software updater turned off, seems to have resolved the issue for now, but it isn't really a solution, at best it's a temporary workaround. I have a full subscription, and I like MB, it just gets on with protecting my Laptop without all the "look what I've achived" nuisnace banners typical of similar products, so I really want MB to get this bug fixed ASAP.

  5. OK, thanks, I will run with it, and see what happens, I have a REVO pro subscription, so I can use that to uninstall if I need to. Please can you give me a lead time for when the latest version's bugs have been ironed out, and also, will I get a notification when it becomes available?
  6. Hello Porthos, the link you supplied installed the updated version that looks like the file I have added, now what?????? Malwarebytes screen dump.pdf
  7. Maybe that's the best option Porthos, but how will I stop it from just updating itself?
  8. Hi Porthos, Hmmm, I do want it work, but my machine was also running into other problems too, I had 4 instances of TBSOD, and a dialogue box to the gist of "Windows has encountered a problem, and needs to close/restart. This has not occurred since the 1st of my resets. Can you assure me that if I do experiance problems, that the Malwarebytes removal tool will deal with the removal completly, and not leave any trace files? Peter
  9. Hello Porthos, thank you for your prompt reply, I have run the support tool, and attached the file as requested. Please remember that I have a clean Windows 10 install, so I doubt there will be any remaining files from the previous installation of Malwarebytes, however, I hope you can help. I do not wish to go through a third recovery process. mbst-grab-results.zip
  10. I too have been having this problem, I didn't know it was Malwarebytes that was causing though. I ended up doing a system reset, and verything worked perfectly, my speeds were back, no hanging on boot-up, and web pages in Edge, Chrome, and firefox all blindingly fast, as they used to be, and how they should be. I then re-installed Malwarebytes, and bang, back to a useless lump of electronics on my knees!! So, I went through the whole re-set process again, I know I could have tried to remove Malwarebytes, but I really was not confident that removing it, even with the removal tool would complete
