  1. Hello, I was trying to do some work for an academic journal and noticed that hxxp://pnpco.com was blocked. I am not sure if this is a false positive. Specific urls have also come up as trojans when blocked. Thank you
  2. Hi. Turned Controlled Folder Access off and it went away as expected. Just wasn't sure why it was happening in the first place but oh well. Thanks
  3. Will do. Thanks. Anything need to be done regarding a FRST fixlist? I assume I'd need to run FRST again if so given the rollback.
  4. Nope - this just started happening when I downloaded the new driver for my NVidia card through GeForce Experience. Thanks for looking into this for me!
  5. I was having some issues with my most recent windows 10 update so I rolled back. Should I rerun FRST? Also Adwcleaner is still finding Lenovo.IMController though it's been quarantined and deleted.
  6. Hello, I recently updated my Nvidia drivers and since then have gotten a message saying that Windows Defender has blocked NvidiaContainer.exe from creating %userprofile%/Videos/tdbswd56spcap. I'm pretty sure it's benign but want to be 100% sure. Attached are my FRST logs, my Malwarebytes log, and finally my Adwcleaner log (scan and clean as I had some Lenovo software on my computer). Thanks! Malwarebytes.txtFRST.txtAddition.txtAdwCleaner[S11].txt
  7. Hi @AdvancedSetup! Thanks for the prompt replies. I've taken care of Chrome on one computer and will do the same on another once I have an opportunity. Do I need to do anything regarding my Android phone? I would greatly appreciate the cleanup script if it is not too much trouble for you. Thank you!
  8. That is good to hear. Do you believe I require a fixlist for FRST?
  9. Hi @AdvancedSetup! Thanks for the quick reply. I'll happily go through with these steps, but my concern is that there is malware on my PC doing something to my Google Account via my computer. My Chrome browser doesn't seem to be misbehaving at all. I asked for help with another computer and was given a txt file to be used with FRST - I was hoping for the same thing here if possible. Then the person helping had me run a Microsoft tool to double check everything. Thanks!
  10. Hello, On my computer, I haven't had any symptoms of infection, but am concerned due to some potentially weird activity on my Google Account. I have had help recently and therefore followed the steps that I was given before to save some time (thanks Kevin :D). I ran: 1) Malwarebytes with Rootkits for both my C and D drives 2) AdwCleaner + Ran Basic Repair 3) FRST Attached are the log files from each of those. Thank you! AdwCleaner[C01].txtMalwarebytes with Rootkits.txt FRST.txtAddition.txt
  11. Hi Kevin! I want to thank you for all of your help. You've truly given me piece of mind that my computer is most likely not infected. If I have another computer that I want help checking out, would you advise that I make a brand new post? And if so, should I run Malwarebytes (w/ Rootkits) and AdwCleaner in advance and append those logs in addition to the FRST logs? That is to say, include the following: 1) FRST logs before Malwarebytes (Log + Addition) 2) Malwarebytes log 3) AdwCleaner log 4) FRST logs post MB (Log + Addition) Thank you
  12. Hello, Thanks again for the quick replies. Here are the logs that you've asked for. I did run the MSRT and it came back with zero infected files. For some reason, though, the log didn't appear to write as expected. Here is the most recent log: Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool v5.82, (build 5.82.17046.2) Started On Wed May 13 20:38:25 2020 Engine: 1.1.16900.4 Signatures: 1.313.2734.0 MpGear: 1.1.16330.1 Run Mode: Scan Run From Windows Update Results Summary: ---------------- No infection found. Successfully Submitted Heartbeat Report Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool Finished On Wed May 13 20:46:24 2020 Return code: 0 (0x0) Hopefully that is sufficient. Thanks! Fixlog.txt
  13. Hi Kevin! Thanks for the assistance. I had run a Malwarebytes scan with rootkit scan enabled while I was writing this post so that is why I'm able to respond so quickly. The reason why I think I am infected is that while my computer was sleeping, somehow it connected to my Google account. I will note that I do have the setting "When my PC is asleep and on battery power, disconnect from the network" set to never in my Power and Sleep settings on Windows 10. Attached are the logs that you asked for. Thanks! Malwarebytes with Rootkits.txt AdwCleaner[C02].txt FRST.txt Addition.txt
  14. Hello, I'm concerned I may be infected. Here are the FRST files. Thank you! Addition.txt FRST.txt
