  1. Thank you for replying Porthos. I have carried out your suggestion and after having to sort out a conflict on my lap top (unknown to me, when I was using the Support Tool, Windows 10 was downloading updates). Somehow, this prevented the support tool from reinstalling MB. The support tool carried out everything else and I manually installed MB from their site and dropped my licence code in. Did a full scan of my lap top and everything seems OK now. Many thanks, Allan
  2. I have Malwarebytes on my desktop PC and my laptop. I installed the latest update on my PC without any problems but when I came to do the same on my laptop, the installation process stops. Over the last three weeks or so, every time I power up my laptop, I am prompted to install the latest update. I try to do this but it fails each time. Any advice?
  3. Both laptop and desktop machines are on Windows 10 Pro 1903
  4. OK, so by Tuesday evening, I found that my desktop PC also had a similar problem - this time it was running a scan but had been for over 15 hours (last normal scan was on Monday, approx. 16.00 hours). Sorted my desktop first by running the Support Tool, did a clean then installed a fresh version of Malwarebytes followed by a RESTART -- result was that Malwarebytes now running as it should. Similar with my laptop. Once again, many thanks for all assistance. Allan
  5. Hi all, Thank you for your suggestions / assistance. My problem is now resolved. Allan
  6. Hi Porthos, Thank you for replying. I have carried out your instructions and have attached the mbst-grab-results file. mbst-grab-results.zip
  7. I am running Malwarebytes version 4.1.0 on my HP laptop which runs Windows 10. The last scan report shows that it was carried out on June 3rd at 15.06 hours - since then it hasn't carried out any scans and when I checked it yesterday, I discovered that it was stuck on 'checking for updates' and had been doing this for over 90 hours. (now over 110 hours) Can someone please give me guidance on how to resolve this problem. Thank you.
