  1. I also tried adding exclusions in Malwarebyte for the True Image backup folder and application, but that did not help.
  2. I am having the same exact issue on multiple computers. If I exit Malwarebytes or turn off "Malware and PUP protection" it works.
  3. I did not realize you created this separate post, once you closed the original (from the other user) I create a new one. So I guess I should use this one now instead of the new one I created?? So I will paste the text from that post: *************************************** I recently upgrade 4 of my computers to Windows 10 2004. 2 went just fine, the other 2 did not... The 2 that did not were unusable. I emailed support and got a support ticket (3060386), but never got a response... Once you log into Windows you did not get far at all. The system would crawl and lock up that is was unusable. It took me a long time just to get to a place where I could uninstall Malwarebytes. After that it went back to normal. I have tried everything. I used the support tools to completely remove Malwarebytes then reinstall. As soon as it was reinstalled, the system became unusable again... I read the other posts and tried turning off "Fast Startup" (but that only affects shutdown and startup not restarts). I enable the beta versions and upgrade to the beta version. Nothing worked, the system remained unusable. I then turned off the "Enable Ransomware" option, rebooted and now it "seems" to be back to normal speed. But now I have the error icon and Malwarebytes nags me that real time protection is turned off. *************************************** So you can see that Fast Startup is not the issue. And the beta version also did not resolve the issue. Once other note, I forget that the other 2 computers that did not have any issues are running the free version of Malwarebytes and therefore not able to turn on Enable Ransomware setting. So it seems that the "Enable Ransomware" is the issue?? As for the tool you want me to use...you can see it was flagged...also at least one AV flagged it as well: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/d0b0d48ae3e1deb93a6dad6e24c6371014d5d97543d677b7091e9becc9eab698/detection I also tried downloading it from another computer (which is running Cylance) and it immediately quarantined that file... So, I'm not going to run that tool, is there another tool I can run to get you what you need? So, I tried running this tool in a VM (to be safe) and got this: So definitely not going to run this tool on my computer...

  6. I am having the same exact issue. Upgraded 4 computers to Windows 10 2004. 2 went just fine. The other 2 were unusable. I was finally able to determine that Malwarebytes was the issue. Uninstalled and everything went back to normal. I was able to then re-install on 1 computer and it is ok. But the last one is not I've tried re-installing several times. Each time the system becomes unusable. I have it uninstalled now....
