  1. Thank You! That's very good to hear. I will start using the computer more if everything is safe and good. I'll see if the pc will reboot again after I close it today after using it for a few hours and will write here if I need some help. Is that okay? This topic kinda turned into a tutorial "how to clean install the Windowa and do basic things after it" for not really Smart computer users such as myself :D Thank You again for all Your help so far! @AdvancedSetup
  2. Thanks, will see what will happen after closing it later (this time I will use it longer). What do You think? Is this a serious problem and/or does it pose any danger? I'm quite concerned right now (especially with safety). Is any of these CDs even for the PC I'm using? If You know that of course. @AdvancedSetup
  3. @AdvancedSetup I turned it on for a while and turned off a while ago. This time it stayed off. I didn't do anything tho. It just didn't turn on again this time. So what do You think? Should I be worried about that?
  4. @AdvancedSetup I'd have to look for it. Everything that came with the pc should be somewhere in my house. Is this a serious problem? Or is this not worth being concerned about? Edit: I'm sending pics of discs I've found.
  5. @AdvancedSetup What do You mean? Can I do anything about this? Today it happened for the third time. There was no such problem before the format. Does it look like something serious? It' like this: After the computer shuts down it launches again after a few seconds. It stays turned off after closing it second time.
  6. @AdvancedSetup Awesome! But I just remembered about one thing. What about that restarting after closing the computer? It happened twice.
  7. @AdvancedSetup So I can use the pc without worries? Thanks! Will probably download Malwarebytes a bit later. About the ESET Online Scanner - I should just delete files from its folder since there is no Uninstaller?
  8. @AdvancedSetup Ok, so everything is good but I can download Malwarebytes and use it if I want to be even more sure? If I decide to use Malwarebytes then I should uninstall ESET Online Scanner, right? Will Defender and MB be enough? So if everything is good the only question that remains is that restarting after turning the pc off. Also: it's normal that I have those CRC options, right?
  9. @AdvancedSetup I downloaded that ZIP and unpacked the update. It installed and the Yellow sign disappeared. Two questions: when unpacking there was a notification about some error or something (screen with red lines). Also when I click RMB on something there is an option that I don't know (2nd screenshot - SHA). What is this? Was this always there or appeared after installing ZIP? About the other problems I wrote (restarting and event in Event Viewer) - there are the logs You asked for (I've enabled all scan options before doing the scan).. FRST.txt Addition.txt Shortcut.txt
  10. @AdvancedSetup Ok, thanks. I have 2 questions (no idea if they are related to that driver). 1) 2 times after I turned my computer off it restarted and turned on (after the first time I thought i accidentaly clicked restart instead of close but it happened again. I found an event id 16384 in a similar time with that restart but I have no idea if this is connected. 2) I checked Event Viewer and there was an event with id 10016 with source: DistributedCOM. It appeared several times. I've found 2 answers to it: Try sfc /scannow and DISM (DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth and DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth) or ignore it if it doesn't make any problems. I'm doing sfc /scannow (I launched cmd as an administrator). I did that sfc and it found nothing but I've never used DISM so I'm not doing it without a recommendation. What should I do? I can use the computer even if those errors are there, right? It's not any virus or anything like that since the system is new and logs/scans don't detect anything?
  11. @AdvancedSetup So everything is good? I should update that driver and read Your instructions and I'm good to go? About the sound it is probably as I asked before? Edit: Which version of ZIP should I download? 19.00 or 21.01 (alpha)? There is no difference if I download if from https://www.7-zip.org or https://7-zip.org.pl ?
  12. So Windows Update will keep my pc updated. This tool checks automatically if any of programms I have installed can be updated?
  13. @AdvancedSetup Ok, so IF there is some problem then I'll have to add it? Or just allow the access if the window appears again. But if it works without it then fine. About ensuring that my computer is up to date - If i update that driver and everything in the Windows Update is downloaded then is my pc up to date? Or do I have to check it some other way? I think sounds are a bit different now. Is it possible that it's because of the new system and different/newer drivers?
  14. Mhm, so I have to extract this driver with ZIP and then do as You said. If it's not working then I'll read the instructions. About the firewall I got Your answer saying that I can give it the access if I trust the application but the problem is that the window doesn't appear again. Do I have to do it manually? If yes, then I should go to Firewall Settings and give "Add applications"?
  15. This one is also an installer? I will do it in a while. In the meanwhile: if I downloaded every update from Windows Update then it means my PC is up to date? And what about tha firewall?
  16. I "unpacked" the file with ZIP and when clicked "setup" the notification appeared: "This operating system is not supported".
  17. @AdvancedSetup Thank You. So I should download it at then go to Devices Manager and update that "Kontroler magistrali zarządzania systemem". It will ask me for an update file so I choose that one I just downloaded? What about that game and access? Should I ignore it if the window asking for permision isn't appearing?
  18. @AdvancedSetup I downloaded every update that appeared in Windows Update. Does that mean that the computer is up to date? I'm sending screenshots of that device with yello sign in the attachments (If there is a need of translation then I'll do my best). About that game - I think it is trusted. I've been playing it for more than 4 years now (War Thunder). The problem is that when the window asking for an access appeared I denied it (pressed "x"). Now that window doesn't appear again. I don't know what do do.
  19. @AdvancedSetup Also: the fix is safe, right? There won't be any problems? Edit: The repair is done. Repairing took some time, checking disc was super fast (I didn't even saw the result cause it was already over when I came back). ESET is still installed, should I just delete it with Shift + Del? The fixlog is in the attachments. I tried updating the driver of that control management but I had to choose an update file from my PC and I don't have any. I saw that the fix was doing something with ipconfig, what was that? I have a question about firewall. I downloaded a game (War Thunder) and when launching it for the first time there was a notification saying that firewall blocked some features of the game and that it asks for an access. I pressed "x" because was a bit confused about my network being set as public. Should I change it? After closing that notification the game didn't ask again for the access or exception. Should I do something to allow the access or can I ignore it? Also: If a game or other program I install asks me about the access, then I should give it to them, right? Should I allow it only through a public network, private network or both? Or none? Fixlog.txt
  20. @AdvancedSetup Good think I woke up for a while. I'd like to ask a few questions: Should I try doing the fix without turning off the Defender first or is it better to turn it off? Nothing bad will happen if it's off? About that ESET, it's nothing to worry about right? And what should I do with that system management driver?
  21. @AdvancedSetup Thank You. I will run it tomorrow as I'm going to sleep now. I'd like to ask: the fix will do only that checking of files and remove temporary files? How does the system look before the scan? There shouldn't be problems (at least not many) if it's new, right? I have Windows Defender running. Should I turn it off? How do I do that? And why should it be turned off? Would it block the repair?
  22. @AdvancedSetup With ESET I mean that if I'm moving any other program on the desktop the movement is smooth but in ESET's case it feels like it's a bit laggy. There shouldn't be any problems if Defender finds nothing and all other programs works fine? Also how do I uninstall ESET Online Scanner and FRST? They aren't visible in Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. One scanner at Virustotal finds something wrong with FRST but all others say it's fine + it's videly used so there is nothing to worry about, right? I don't really know how to translate that Kontroler Magistrali Zarządzania Systemem. If translated directly it would be "System management main line controller" or something similar. It shows that there is no driver installed and I can click on "update driver". Should I do it? Logs are in attachments (all additional options were enabled in FRST) FRST.txt Shortcut.txt Addition.txt
  23. @AdvancedSetup I can download FRST without any concerns, right? Also I downloaded ESET Online Scanner to scan from time to time in addition to the Defender. I tried to move it after it opened (the scanner's window) with my mouse and it was "swimming". I can't describe it properly but when moving another program's window it moves smoothly and precisely but ESET is "swimming" on the screen. Is that a feature of ESET's or some kind of bug?
  24. So, will those logs tell if everything is okay? I can send them a bit later. It is probably a dumb qustion since I've been using it before but downloading and using FRST is completely safe, right? I have a photo of this thing in device manager (it's in Polish but maybe the icon or translation will help)
