  1. Somehow a Windows Update fixed the problem. Thanks for all your help though.
  2. They sent me the same reply about paying to talk to someone the phone. I think they've helped me as far as possible without me paying them.
  3. Well it seems that some programs will let me reinstall them and some of them won't. For example, when I try reinstalling eEmpowering Techonology Framework I recieve a message that says "DotNetInstaller has stopped working" so i close the program and it pops back up with that same message several times before the program finishes installing but in the end it says it was installed successfully. However, when I try to run the program I get the same message as before "eEmpoweringTechonologyFramework" has stopped working. On the other hand, when I try to reinstall the eRecoveryService, there is a long pause during the "preparing the install shield wizard" screen. At the end of this pause a message comes up and says "an invalid arguement has been encountered." That's when I have to open the Task Manager to close the program. I'm going to send a copy of this reply to Acer. Thanks again, Jeremy
  4. So far all I've got is that the computer is out of warranty and they want me to pay to talk to someone over the phone. I replied and simply asked if they could send me links to download and reinstall the defective programs.
  5. Yes the issue still occurs. I will email Acer imediately. Thank you for your help.

  11. Hello good fellows, "Acer eNet Tray", "Acer ePower Management DMC", "Acer Empowering Techonology Framework" have stopped working and were closed. These messages appear whenever i start windows. Once before I got a similar message about "Acer eRecoveryService." I've followed every step up to this post. Since I am unsure of the customs of this website I would like to request an email, at (e-mail removed- screen317), for each post if it's not already set to do so. Please help me save my computer before it's too late.
