  1. Bertel, outstanding post above. Thank you for taking the time to research and compose it. I also agree strongly with your assessment of the responses that we continue to receive from forum staff. Whether a volunteer or employee, representatives of the company reflect on that company - in this case, quite poorly. To repeatedly tell a customer, in effect, "I don't have your problem," "you're welcome not to use our product," and other condescending and defensive remarks is extremely unprofessional. In fact, after having been a customer for years, I was willing to wait a while longer for fixes to
  2. Sadly, I agree with Bertel and no longer trust Malwarebytes. I'm happy that the product works for many, including the forum staff, of which we are often reminded, but it doesn't work properly for me and hasn't for months. I humbly suggest to the company that a more robust testing program is needed instead of releasing seriously flawed products and relying on paying users to conduct research. Adios.
  3. Roger, thank you for the clarification. Good luck on the hunt.
  4. Sorry to report that the original problems with Ransomware Protection and Update 2004 have returned. I understood Maurice's post above to mean that the latest update resolves this problem. Is that correct? Or is a solution still in process?
  5. I'm glad that things are working for you. By the way, the problem is not just with IPv6 ping, it's with IPv6 traffic in general. Are you a representative for the company? Your tone implies that the problem is with me.
  6. With this update, on my four Windows 10 systems, Malwarebytes still interferes with IPv6 Internet traffic, forcing me to disable Web Protection. This issue has persisted for several months. On the good news front, Ransomware Protection with Windows 2004 update seems OK now.
  7. I am experiencing the same problem with Windows 2004. Disabling Ransomware Protection seems to resolve the problem.
  8. AdvancedSetup, do you whether the current beta is supposed to address the IPv6 issue? Thank you.
  9. Thanks for your reply. I noticed that the IPv6 problem has apparently come and gone previously. It also seems that this occurrence has been lingering for months. Can you be more specific regarding a potential fix? "If possible" is not very encouraging. 😞 On February 3, AdvancedSetup posted here that the then latest beta release should address the problem - that's three months ago. Does the current beta release address the problem? Regarding your second point above, I'm 99.9% certain that my issues (on four Windows 10 systems) are all IPv6 related. In any event, disabling Web Protection re
  10. Sorry to be snarky, but I was upset because I had already spent hours determining the source of my connectivity problems. No excuse, but I offer my apology. Digging more deeply into the forum, it seems that this is a known, acknowledged problem, with a fix apparently in process.
  11. I'm experiencing the same problem. Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.18363.815] (c) 2019 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. 12. I don't think so - that's quite an onerous set of procedures. It'll be easier just not to renew. Bye! PS: I did give you a clue - YOUR problem, not mine on four different computers, might be related to IPv6
  13. I am experiencing what I believe is the same or a similar problem - Malwarebytes Pro Web Protection interferes with Internet traffic. Example, Youtube.com pages load very slowly; videos take minutes to start and then stutter. Another example is pinging google.com, which times out. If I disable Web Protection, the problems disappear. Youtube pages load immediately and videos play immediately with no stuttering. Also, see the ping results below. The first ping command was executed with Web Protection enabled; the second, with Web Protection disabled. (In case it's useful information, the pi
