uninstall/reinstall seems to have fixed it for me as well... before trying to get the browser guard settings to show up was a no go, now they open as soon as you click the icon

ok, just an update to confirm it was indeed the windows 11 bug!! Service is now a nice 0% cpu usage!

false alarm I think, seems to be the inventory and compatibility appraisal service bug in windows 11 I did more digging and found it was using over 8gb of ram inventorying files, of which I assume malewarebytes was checking the files it scanned anyway stopped the service for now.....updated 11 pro build is downloading that is supposed to fix the bug, I will update this tomorrow after it installs to confirm

the service cpu usage is hovering around 20% with spikes to 35%...it isn't scanning
