As I pointed out above, "Finally, when I was creating another screenshot of the error message, the Retry worked and all is well." So, V1.19 is installed now on both computers. And I was able to post a screenshot of the Code 5 error message by converting the jpg to a gif file.

I changed it to a gif file and it worked.

I was eventually able to upgrade to v1.19. I got the Code 5 error message on two computers, but Retry worked on one. The other one I had to Abort. Even after running CCleaner and rebooting and trying to upgrade to 1.19 again, the Code 5 would still appear. Finally, when I was creating another screenshot of the error message, the Retry worked and all is well. The inability to upload the jpeg was confusing as well, so I thought I would create a topic on it.

I tried to upload a 25kb jpg of a MBAM Code 5 error message and I kept getting: "Upload failed. You are not permitted to upload this type of file" It had it stored both on my desk top and in My Pics.
