Yeah, I ran it before I had to factory reset. Should I run it again?
-
I just wanted to inform after uninstall another anti-virus program "Bitdefender," the same issue came up again. I also attached pictures of what I mean by soft vs hard factory reset. When I say soft factory reset, I am referring to "keep my files" as the first option found in the second picture, and when I am referring hard factory reset, I am referring to "remove everything" as the second option in the second picture. Both have worked to fix the issue of "err_connection_reset"

Attached is the FRST files with the addition.txt after a hard factory reset.

Okay, I can purchase one of these. How do I go about establishing a reset point so that I can revert back to those settings?

Thanks for the feedback! I would appreciate it if you guys could run me through how to make back ups onto an external source. I'm assuming this would take a large external hard drive.
I also will run a FRST again. Thanks.

My desktop computer ( the computer that was first experiencing issues ) has lot internet connection against when I uninstalled malware bytes. I am getting very frustated. I am going to have to factory reset this computer again just to get internet connection. What can we do to resolve this intermittent issue?

I am unable to log on to this local account. It is no appearing as an option for me when I sign out of my original account and try to access this new local one.

I have created a local account and it has allowed me to set it as the administrator. What should we do from here? Does this explain why I am having internet issues intermittently?

To my knowledge this is a new windows account, and I used my school's email which has microsoft privileges to create this new Windows account when I had to factory reset (because of the initial problem).
My prior windows account was not activated because my friend gave me one that was free. Could that be the issue that FRST is detecting?
Here are the attached files.

No I didn't notice that it looked different to be honest.
And a soft reset, meaning that I didn't remove any of my files just downloaded apps and other settings.

Sorry for the late reply. I encountered the problem again today ( ERR_CONNECTION_RESET), and after a soft factory reset, here are theAddition.txt files you've ask for. Please let me know if there's any underlying issue that is causing my internet connection to run into this.

Sure, thanks my man. Do I need to run Farbar again?

I had to factory reset my computer. Thanks for trying!

I ran it still, but found no malware 😞

I don't have internet access, so I can't follow most of these commands.

I just ran it. Unfortunately, I am still not getting internet connection. Anything else we can do?

Thanks for your assistance. Are you saying that after reviewing these files, you found issues that can be causing inability to access my internet connection? is this a common issue?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. Unfortuantely, when I said that I have acess to to the internet, I meant to say that my computer is saying that I technically have internet access, but I am unable to connect to it.
So I followed your instructions, but the repair tool was unable to finish the clean up because of a "network problem." It says, "Malwarebytes for Windows could not be downloaded due to a network problem."
thanks.

Hello! I have been using malware bytes for a couple days. I noticed that when I removed some of the feature like internet security and others, it would not let me access the internet, but when I would turn these features back on, my internet access would work again. SO, I figured I would try uninstalling malware bytes totally, and now I don't have any internet acess at all.
Google chrome keeps giving me "This site can't be reached. The connection was reset. ERR_CONNECTION_RESET"
Other internet browsers are working. I have access to the internet.
After removal of Malware Bytes ( free download ), no internet access
