I had the same problem as was resolved in this thread:

I have been able to follow most of the steps and it seems to have solved the problem.
However, I was unable to complete the step that uses http://www.virustotal.com/ due to not having/being able to find those files. and the following step that requires the attached fixlist.txt File, due to the download having been removed. I would like to know if these where of importance or if the clean Microsoft scan can be taken as a confirmation of a successful cleaning.
