  1. Sadly, nothing happened after I turned Ransomware Protection OFF, and then nothing happened after I turned Web Protection OFF too. Actually, PC became more unstable after I did those steps. I really think the real problem lies in not having a proper cooler for my Processor, or my Power Supply isn't enough for my PC setup. I will definitely consider selling my current PC parts and buying a new PC soon. Thank you again for all your help. Please stay safe.
  2. Hi, sorry, I will try it tonight. Will let you know here.
  3. Hi, Both of the issues still persist unfortunately...so I will have to take a look at hardware after this virus. Thank you for all your help and time.
  4. I will let you know about my experience with the computer in the following days. I am very happy for you helping me, and now I at least know it is definitely not anything malware-related. It helps to know where to focus on the problem. If the issue persists, it is definitely hardware-related and I will try to repair it somewhere after this virus thing ends. Thank you so, so much for helping me this walkthrough, I wish you to stay safe during this outbreak and all the best. Thanks
  5. Hi, I had to move all files to download folder since the software was located there. I ran the fix after it said "Fix completed etc." and it prompted me to restart. I have restarted the PC (not sure about the first part about your message regarding rebooting and clean temp and running a disk check?) and I am attaching the Fixlog.txt file now. Thanks Fixlog.txt
  6. Hi, I ran the FRST tool but it didn't recognize the fixlist since it was on the desktop, along with FRST.txt and Addition.txt files like you told me to put them there. Should I instead put fixlist.txt to C:\FRST\Logs folder, where original FRST and Addition files are located, and then press "fix" on FRST tool? Thanks
  7. Hey yes, sorry, I went to sleep after my last post and then had to run some errands during the day today. I am looking now at your post.
  8. Hi @AdvancedSetup First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to help me out, I really appreciate it. I have run the Malwarebytes software and it showed me no detections. I have attached the report. After that, I have run the AdwCleaner software by running it as an administrator, but Terms of use or database updating didn't show. I clicked on Scan now right away, and, after it finished scanning, it only gave me an option to "Quarantine". I didn't find "Clean & Repair" option. I have attached a photo of how the program looks like after I finished scanning. I have clicked on "Quarantine", 3 items were found, and i then restarted the computer. On the startup, the log file was ready and I have attached it under names "AdwCleaner[C00].txt" and "AdwCleaner[S00].txt". Regarding the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool, my PC recognized it as a file that may harm my computer, but I went ahead and installed it, after dozens of reassurances from my PC lol. This is the first time I am running this tool, so I will attach both of the files (FRST.txt and Addition.txt). Thank you. MalwareBytes Report.txt AdwCleaner[C00].txt AdwCleaner[S00].txt Addition.txt FRST.txt
  9. Hi guys, FIRST ISSUE I am having freezing problems with my PC for about a year and a half now. I have bought my current PC in June, 2017. So, two and a half years passed since I bought it, and I have been using it for playing the top AAA games. I am attaching this link below to some similar thread because I have exactly the same issues, but since I read the answers from user "gringo", I didn't want to run those softwares by myself, but instead start a different topic here on this site. I would appreciate any input from you guys since I it is really becoming unbearable for me. SECOND ISSUE One more problem that happens recently is that, during the bootup, I get the message "Disk Read Error, Press CTRL ALT DELETE To Restart", where I restart multiple times and go to BIOS everytime and put some random boot order until it boots properly (it is NEVER the same boot order which triggers the normal bootup, which is why I am going random everytime, including going to "Restore Defaults"). When it first happened around the New Year (3 months ago), I couldn't boot up properly in any way so I had to reinstall the whole Windows. I made a bootable USB and obtained Windows by using Media Creation Tool from Microsoft website. Since I initially thought there is some problem with my HDD, I detached it from my setup, so, for these 3 months I am only running my PC on SSD. Later it proved that both of the issues (freezing and booting) persist even though I had HDD detached, so I tried booting up with HDD attached (because I really needed additional memory space for Steam and Ubisoft games), and it couldn't boot up even after a dozen of tries, so I returned to using only SSD to this moment now. My PC Specs are: Motherboard: Intel® B250 Express (MSI B250M PRO-VD) Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-7500, Quad Core, 3.4GHz - 3.8GHz, Box Graphics Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 6GB (GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G) RAM Memory: 16GB DDR4 2400MHz Kingston HyperX Fury Black HX424C15FB/16 HDD: 1TB SATA 6Gbps 64MB 7.200 rpm Western Digital Blue WD10EZEX SDD: 250GB 2.5" SATA III SAMSUNG 850 EVO MZ-75E250B Power Supply: CHIEFTEC GPS-650A8 650W Full Smart series Computer Case: Cooler Master K350 (RC-K350-KWN2-EN) irrelevant, but why not Monitor: BenQ RL2455 some LG Super Multi, SecurDisc CD-DVD ROM. These are all the components I have in my PC, there is absolutely nothing else in the setup (additional coolers or some other things). One more thing that can probably be relevant to the topic, is the games that I play, because they have high PC requirements, therefore are using my PC more. I am playing games like Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, Tom Clancy's The Division 1, Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (the game with which I had this freezing issue the MOST), Hunt: Showdown, GTA V, Prey, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, PUBG...some of those games I had played constantly since I bought the PC (Siege, Division 1, GTA V, CSGO, Hunt) but some of the games were played less. Thank you!
