  1. I ran the cleaner, but it found nothing new. If you look at the threat center link, that's not exactly how the installer looks. You can't decline it if you want the program you downloaded installed: This is how it looks. The image was fround in a different post on MWB forums. MWB is pretty good at removing it aside from some harmless shortcuts so I doubt there's anything left. It's just an annoyance to have to deal with it. So of there's nothing else to do then I don't need more help. Thank you for your time.
  2. Thank you for the response. I didn't give any specifics on my system as the question was generalized in regards to RelevantKnowledge, but here goes. I'm running Win10 Pro At the moment I'm using Chrome, but I've been unsatisfied with recent updates, deliberately patching in security holes is a no go(ScrollToTextFragment), so I'm contemplating changing to something else. I do not have Premium MWB, that would probably be a big help with this particular problem. I disable the network adapter when installing things with RelevantKnowledge to avoid anything being sent before the adware is removed. Don't know if that's enough. I don't get the application RelevantKnowledge on its own. It is always part of a bundled freeware and never advertised at download of freeware. It's not uncommon. Basically, if you decline the installation of Relevantknowledge, you don't get the freeware. I do understand if MWB is reluctant to look more into it if it is covered sufficiently by the premium version. I'm not a choosing beggar. You're already doing a massive service.
  3. Hello guys, first post on the forum. It happens that I run into this adware called Relevantknowledge when installing programs. When installed it installs some "Falco" suite of programs with it and gradually they take over your browsers. It's not a big deal, since malwarebytes kills it thoroughly, but... My question is the following: Would it be possible to circumvent the installation in the first place, or protect against it? I want the program behind the adware installed and the installation terminates if you decline. One thing that could be improved in the removal of this, is removing the shortcuts left behind. They're at the bottom of "C:\Program Files (x86)" and the desktop.
