    malwarebytes keeps telling me I need to add browser guard to my computer for added safety. I want to know if I add browser guard will it's ability to block ads interfere with you tubes requirement not to use an ad blocker. will I be able to watch videos on you tube or not.

    I turned the computer off so that I could get cleaned up and dressed. that took about 30 minutes. when I turned the computer back on, I wanted to run a scan with Malwarebytes. I bring it up and find that Malwarebytes in already scanning the computer. It has gotten through to scanning files and has been scanning for 50 minutes. The question is: was the scan running while the computer was turned off? Is that possible?
