  1. I tried everything in the suggested topic. I made sure I followed the steps exactly but it didn't help. I'm still getting the trojan warning.
  2. A few days ago I began getting a pop-up warning from Malwarebytes stating it was blocking a website due to Trojan. I posted the problem in a topic in this forum. I got a response the warning was due to some sort of adware script. The problem is the file that Malwarebytes is telling me that's infected is my Google Chrome files. It seems Chrome is trying to auto-connect to this site. I received a reply to that post which advised me to try downloading and running AdwCleaner. I did that but I'm still getting the warning pop-up. I was then advised to download and run the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool which I did. I ran a scan but Malwarebytes didn't find any problems so I don't have a threat scan log. However, I did attach the log from Malwarebytes I had attached to my previous post along with the 2 files that were generated when I ran the recovery scan tool. Thanks for your help. 3. Ran AwdCleaner but still getting the Malwarebytes warning. I'll try the other forum you suggested. Thanks for your help!
  4. Sorry, I'm no computer expert. Can you tell me how to get rid of that script? I appreciate the warning but the Malwarebyte pop-up is really annoying. Thanks!
  5. Today Malwarebytes began blocking this site as a Trojan. Since the .exe file seems to be embedded in Chrome I'm not sure how to address this problem. I searched to see if I could find any reports of problem with screensrc.com. According to Google, McAfee, and Bitdefender the site is safe. Norton stated the site had not been tested. As a final step I ran a Malwarebytes scan and nothing was detected. Right now it's merely a nuisance to have to close the warning pop-up. I don't want to mark it for exclusion and potentially have to deal with a bigger problem later. Also, I noticed several other posts in this forum about other sites incorrectly blocked for the same problem. Was there a recent Malwarebytes update causing this common problem? Please advise how to proceed. Thanks, Willie C. Malwarebytes_Log.txt
