  1. OK, thanks - I must have purchased 3 of them at the time because I do have 3 PCs with Lifetime Malwarebytes, but one is in another country so I can't check it and the other is my desktop, which I did not set up since moving to my current residence.
  2. Porthos, SUCCESS! Actually, after I looked at the settings in my Legacy Malwarebytes Premium again, I discovered that it was the LIFETIME license, which I actually purchased years ago. At the time, it was a one time purchase for up to 3 PCs and it never expires. So, I added the License ID and Key to my account, then deactivated ALL (the only option). After that, I logged into Malwarebytes website and downloaded the FREE TRIAL version. After downloading, it asked me for the License ID and Key, which it accepted, so now I am good to go with my Surface GO. FYI: I have a HP Spectre 360 laptop, that I love, but the battery is swelling badly (2 1/2 years old). The ASUS EEEPC was my temporary Netbook and emergency backup PC. After spilling coffee on the keyboard and replacing it, then having the hard drive die and replacing it with a SSD, installing Windows 10 and over-clocking the processor (Intel Atom) as much as it would tolerate, it was better, but still way too slow. So, I decided to get a Surface GO on sale at Best Buy with keyboard cover, 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD.This way, I will have a faster backup PC while I have the battery replaced in my HP. However, I really like using Malwarebytes, along with the the weaker MS Security and have not experienced any malicious virus issues. So, I wanted to move the Malwarebytes from the ASUS EEEPC to the Surface GO ASAP. Note that all work on the ASUS EEEPC was done by me - I am a Certified Electronics Technician and a FCC Licensed Amateur Radio ("HAM") operator, as well as a Certification Administrator for ISCET and FCC. So, I am technically literate... Thanks again for your time and assistance. Your responses encouraged me to attempt the move and it worked! Jim
  3. OK - Originally, I was going to create a ticket with Support, but the site seemed to direct me to this Forum, so I decided to try it first...
  4. OK, Porthos, I can try that. The Legacy Malwarebytes KEYS were registered, but that was some time ago and may have been a different login, but I can try to add them anyway. Thanks again!
  5. Porthos, Thanks again for trying to assist me, but what you suggested will not work since, as I said, when I log into my Malwarebytes account, only the newest, purchased version shows up; not the one that is on the PC that I need to deactivate and move. Jim
  6. Porthos, thanks for your response. All of my PCs have the same "Premium" version of Malwarebytes. The reason I said "Legacy" is because I have 3 licenses from before Malwarebytes began charging for home PC versions. However, they are the same as the version I purchased more recently. They are not "Free Trial" versions. The free versions had a KEY and were registered with Malwarebytes, but they do not show up now when I log into my account. Therefore, I am concerned if I remove one and try to install it into another PC with the applicable KEY that it may not work...
  7. Hi, 3 of my home PCs have the legacy free version of Malwarebytes Premium installed. One additional PC has a purchased version of Malwarebytes Premium installed. When I log into my account, only the purchased version is shown. The problem I have is that I just replaced an old and slow ASUS EEEPC with a new Microsoft Surface GO PC and I want to move the free version of Malwarebytes Premium from the EEEPC to the Surface GO. Please advise me how I can do that. Thanks, Jimaroc
