This new Version 4 update sucks hard!!! I'm not a techy person and all of the admins and super users are recommending things that are above my knowledge. Or they're just plain rude ("Move!"). How many others have come here looking for answers (or Google, Twitter, etc) and turned back because MB seems to not want to acknowledge they launched a sh!tty update.
My scan has been running for 63 hours and stuck on Checking for Updates. Lame!
No, I will not install MB Support Tool that others have said did not fix their problems.
No, I will not download and zip log files.
No, I am not running Kaspersky or some other virus protection.

Others have commented that backdating to v3 made "their" problems go away so clearly the issue is with your "upgrade".
Why can't I pause a scan like the previous version? That would at least allow me to get on with my work. It has in the past. You took away a feature that helped! Now I don't know how to stop the scan. Delete the scheduled scan? Closing the program sounds like a non-solution.
Turn on Beta? With the giant warning about this is not fully tested.... Fix your product before a release.
What a crazy joke this is. And I have to hunt on these forums for answers...
I really thought MB was better than this.
BTW, I could have commented on any number of other threads on this exact issue. But I started a new one because MB, and others, need to see how much aggravation this is causing.
I may not re-check this new thread. I'm so pissed. If mods or admins need to contact me, send an email.
