  1. I figured it was the same issue on my system, a Youtube downloader. Zemana took care of it. Glad you found a solution for the problem so quickly. It took me several hours to accomplish what you did in such a short time. Nice job! MM
  2. Hello, I finally solved the problem by using Zemana Anti Malware (free edition). The problem was multiple instances of a Firefox browser hijacker installed in a Firefox plugin. There were multiple instances of this on my pc. I am pissed off that Malwarebytes Premium did not remove this as I expected it to do so. I may be rethinking my MB renewal when the time comes. Also, I installed Firefox while foolishly believing that it was a more secure browser. Firefox needs to step up their game and make sure that any addons/plugins are safe to use before offering them for download/install. Be careful when using Zemana as it tends to report McAfee antivirus objects as possibly dangerous. Below is the log entry from Zemana. ------------------ MD5    :   Status    :  Scanned Object    :  c:\users\mgm\appdata\roaming\mozilla\firefox\profiles\dai4j7ao.default-release\extensions\jid1-q4sg8pyhq8kghs@jetpack.xpi Publisher    :   Size    :  0 Detection    :  HijackExt:FirefoxPlugin/jid1-q4sG8pYhq8KGHs@jetpack Action    :  Delete ------------------- Good luck to you. 3. Greetings, Malwarebytes Premium v4.0.4 has been reporting attempted outbound connections to any web site I try to visit by "goldapps.org". MWB categorizes it as a trojan. I have the latest anti-vir software from McAfee AntiVirus, Windows Defender, Ccleaner, and none of these have picked up this attempted outbound connection. Everything is running the very latest updates. I am using Win 10 Pro 64 build 18362.19h1_release.190318-1202 and am up to date on ALL programs on my system and all Microsoft security hotfixes for Win 10. I am using an Alienware 15r4 laptop, service tag 5QYHST2, and all the software from Dell/Alienware is also up to date. I have searched high and low using Google for any info I can find about goldapps.org but continuosly come up empty on results. What the heck is this goldapps.org, why does it keep trying to connect and how the heck do I get rid of it??? Thanks. MM gaps.txt
