Porthos, It appears the Exclusion List is not interrogated by MWB when it stops real time threats, only when doing scans (at least that's what is implied in the documentation [scans only] and supported by the evidence). So I continue to have the same program quarantined a few times a day even though it is clearly defined in my exclusion list. Please refer to the attached PDF containing screen shots of Exclusion list and Quarantine list from MWB. Thoughts as to how to exclude the false positive from MWB's real time threat process?? I am getting multiple real time false positives daily on a program in a suite of remote access software. A new instance of the program is created every time it runs, so MWB puts 9 or more entries in quarantine every day and I get to watch the individual pops up telling me about a false positive breaking my work concentration - IT IS NOISE! Who decided in 4.x that MWB was gonna be dumbed down to the point where individual users have to post their false positives to these forums and you guys decide to either add it to your global list of exclusions, or we are out of luck. You must have a fair number of people reporting individual websites that should be flagged on the users whitelist but you have removed that. The file in question is: BHV.EXE it is a software component of LabTech Remote Monitoring and Maintenance Platform by ConnectWise Capital. And if there is a way for me to exclude or whitelist myself, I would certainly appreciate hearing about it. Thank you.

I mean seriously! Why can't I use my Account and Account password for the Forum? No, you force me to create a new user, password, etc. This is a forum, right? Shouldn't need more security than setting up my User Account at MWB, Right? No. Wrong. Not only do you have Captcha, you also have another ridiculous addition where you ask worldly questions like: What is the acronym: For your information? But it changes each time one attempts to complete the new member setup. Then, it doesn't bother telling you that they require a strong password, nope, you can go through the process get no errors and it still forces you to repeat. Christ, I hate amateurs designing web sites and login schemes! ===================================================== Who came up with the bright idea that we can no longer exclude files that are being flagged as false positives? I use one for remote access that mwb flags 4 or 5 times daily and quarantines it, and it simply creates a new instance every time. I would rather stop seeing all these false positives because it begins to make me ignore the warning when they pop up so frequently. Just like the boy who cried wolf. That is why good virus and firewall software always includes whitelists and exclusions. EXCEPT MWB 4.0.4. Are you now designing this product for users who don't know anything - and eliminating access to functions many/most of us need in the real world? PS: I have been a premium customer for many years and all I wanted to do was to get into forums to find out: how do I exclude a file that is a false positive? h
