  1. Last nite (2/3,23) I Killed MWB and for the first time I was able to watch my entire one hour recording of the natl and local news. After reading this post I was tempted to add all of the processes to MWB exclusions but decided to instead exclude the folder "Plex Media Server" and see if that solves the problem. If that does the trick it's a much easier/simpler way to resolve the problem. I will update the post if it fails to solve the problem.
  2. If I want to print something from my android cell phone or tablet to my Canon wireless printer I have to turn Privacy off. Other wise I get a message that the printer is unavailable even tho' it is shown in the list of available printers. This is not a deal breaker, just a pain in the nether regions. BTW I have tried several printer apps (Mopria, Canon and the Samsung service) and they all do the same. I have a Moto 7 cell running Android 10 and a Galaxy Tab with Android 12
  3. I installed the IOS version (from the Apple app store) on June 24. Now I find I have 2 Android licenses. I turned off the auto renew and deactivated those licenses today. I have no Android devices. How do I get a refund?
  4. I also get significantly reduced download speeds. My service is Mediacom 1gps down and 60gps up. Without VPN, I average around 600-800mbps (mostly 700) down and around 60 up. With VPN, download speeds drop around 75% to around 150-200 mbps. The funny thing (and you probably have an explanation for this) is that upload speed is minimally affected. I'm in Cedar Rapids, IA and do all of my testing with Ookla and the server is WindStream (Chicago). I've tried many of the US-based Privacy servers and they all give pretty much the same results. I have no interest in the foreign servers. I've got a custom computer with Gigabyte motherboard with an on-board Realtek 1gps port, 16GB memory and AMD 4.2ghz cpu, Netgear CM1100 1gps modem and Nighthawk AC1900 router. If I could be of any assistance in finding out why some users are less impacted than others, I'd be willing to participate.
  5. I purchased this on 4-29 and my results have been disappointing speed-wise. I have 200/20 service thru Mediacom. Three different speed tests non-vpn give me 250/25 which is better than promised. With vpn turned on I get 125/20 which is not acceptable. I tried three different servers closest to me and the speeds remained about the same. Prior to the purchase I did a fair amount of surfing sites that talked about who needs vpn and why. I pretty much decided that I didn't need it but thought it might be a good idea to try it out. The compelling reason I purchased this product was the touting of the Wireguard protocol that "promised" minimal speed impact. Well, say good-bye to minimal impact. I guess I will keep the product and figger out later how and when (if ever) to use it. On the plus side, it's ridiculously easy to use and relatively cheap.
