Not sure of the procedure, but when doing a routine cleaning of my PC (after an update to Office 365) I noticed that a new command had been added into the windows startup C:\ProgramData\dale\pentothal.exe. This directory is hidden, and I was only able to delete it from an elevated cmd prompt. Unfortunately, as soon as it was deleted, it was recreated, indicating to me anyway that it is potentially malware. Neither Malwarebytes or Webroot can detect the file, and I have tried unsuccessfully to copy it.
I worried about rebooting. Can you assist?
